One star less for the coffee and wait times.
The food is great but not the coffee. Long wait times at 9 am on a Wednesday morning. Please plan to go a little late (after 9:30 am) to avoid the rush hour.

Me and my bf had the breakfast veggie wrap. It was absolutely delicious!
The coffee though was not that great. My bf took a cappuccino and I had a latte with oat milk. Both our coffees were too hot to even sip and didn’t taste good.

Amazingly tasty, very reasonably priced, cosy place with a local character to it. Great outdoor sitting options - upfront or at side patio in the shade. Also, their scones are out of this wold!

It is actually a great spot and I used to always look forward to stopping here because the coffee is pretty good and I can get a decent vegetarian snack and I love the surroundings of the iconic Shasta-stone building and outdoor spaces. But lately this place is a victim of its own success and the wait times are ridiculous and generally I don't bother to wait that long. So I guess if it's not really busy, five stars, but on a weekend at peak times I think I'd have to avoid it entirely.

It was busy when we were there. Okay coffee, very large breakfast burrito. Hit the spot after a long morning hike.

Amazing place!! Every time I visit Mount Shasta I go here with my family, the coffee is great and has a great price as well. The food is something I have always wanted to try and I got lunch here with my family last week!! I got the breakfast sandwich and it was amazing! The people working are so nice and I would highly recommend stopping here if you are ever in town.

We were just passing through and stopped based on the other excellent reviews. We were impressed with the quality and price of the food. The peach iced tea is perfectly balances with sweetness and fruitiness, but the lavender tea was a little bitter. Will get a 5th star when they fix the order/food process so that you don't wait in line for 20 minutes to order, then get half your order after 20 minutes, and the other half only after asking where it was after 40 minutes, and it wasn't prepped to allergy specifications (requested no cheese and no mayo on a club wrap, not that hard.)

The coffee here is superb! The barista hooked me up with a splash of heavy cream, which is the only way I roll now with cream in my coffee :) Breakfast burritos are hefty and yummy. The salsa is a terrific addition. Friendly staff and was fun to be amongst the awesome locals rolling in and catching up quick with each other. Everyone had masks on - thank you :)

Food was good. Portions were excellent. Staff was friendly and service was quick despite being lunch time. Their "Ranger" cookie is amazing, it has all kinds of different types of treats in it. Buy it, you won't be sorry. The building also has a very unique charm to it.
