Unique and wonderfully located cafe in downtown Mountain View with an offering of a select few coffees specialties, espresso drinks, and non- coffee drinks. The establishment sources direct trade coffee, local sourced milk, and the coffee roast is balanced. The selections are few but the drinks I tried were fabulous.
The staff here is also great. Everyone is super friendly and the vibe welcomes you to come here and hang out for a bit. They have plenty of indoor seating with a few tables outside as well. The decor is very modern and feels great. Worth coming here for great coffee or a place to relax with friends.

Literally a cornerstone coffee shop on Castro Street, Mountain View, this is the go-to coffee shop of mountain view, IMO. It always has an energetic vibe here and the baristas are dynamic and friendly.
It is right near the farmer's market so it's a great place to go to before or after, or even bring one of the delicious pastries from the farmer market and enjoy with a coffee here.
However, there is no lack of selection as far as accompaniments to your coffee here. The almonds croissant is quite distinctive and a specialty of theirs, as is there coffee cakes - I having a predilection for their blueberry coffee cake.
They have plenty of seating both inside and out, though I have a preference to set one of their side tables alongside their classic granite building wall outside. On weekends though it can get pretty busy, so be prepared to stake out your table 😃
If you are in Mountain view looking for a coffee, you can't go wrong with this place.

I love this place for its second floor seating! It's a great place to work, read or have a nice chat! It's generally very quiet and calm there! The coffee and pastries from Midwife Bakery are really good and the staff is super friendly and nice!

This coffee shop is full of activity! Crammed into two floors on a popular Mountain View corner, there’s a steady stream of people in and out.
The coffee was great (could hardly tell it was soy instead of whole milk), and their croissants are excellent (from The Midwife and the Baker).
Minus one star, because it was too full to be comfortable for a meeting - it made me nervous about covid risk. Tables are literally elbow to elbow to fit people in, and there was a homeless man going from table to table asking for money. The decor felt kind of beat up and dated, and their to go cups were small and flimsy.
So, for a grab and go cup, it’s great - for a leisurely meeting, keep looking.

Cute coffee place with a unique vibe. There are 2 floors so, need not worry about seating!
Friendly staff😊

One of the best hot chocolate I had. Raspberry coffee cake was ok. Next time will stick to tried and tested coffee cake.

EDIT***
Their response is a perfect example of their entitled snarky attitude that you deal with in this location.
Even other recent reviews complain that their product is inferior.
Hilariously, they also blamed me for wanting to return a can of kombucha that they price gouge the customer, even tho I was right at the counter when it was purchased and returned it seconds after.
This company is a gaslighting mess.
Take your business elsewhere!!

Top tier prices for incompetent product. I was told that a 4$ increase on a sale of Better Booch Kombucha was due to convenience when it is gross price gouging.
The honey lavender latte I ordered is cold and not even filled with product.
This cafe is a joke for morning coffee, which is supposed to be my favorite part of the day and now I get to start my day off annoyed because the passive aggressive say manager wanted to argue with me over me returning the kombucha because of it’s overpricing and tried defending it.
Capitalist Consumerism at its finest.
Worst way to start a morning.
For 7.25 a latte, you could at least put it in a more durable coffee cop. Smh. What a mess

The worst macchiato that I’ve ever had. Coffee has no aroma, macchiato had way more milk that it should have. Horrible horrible coffee. Has a good space for work though, second floor is very spacious!

They warm up croissants in microwave 🤦♂️ moreover, they think it's normal, they told me a coffee shop doesn't suppose to have a normal warmer other coffee shops have! Also, it takes them an eternity to make a pour over. Also, they open very late for a coffee shop - 8:00am. I don't know what worlds they live in, but it is one of the strangest coffee shops I've ever visited. I hope a more decent coffee shop will replace them in this location.

A bit pricey, but to be expected for downtown MV.
Honey lavender latte is one of my all-time favorite drinks, I highly recommend it if you enjoy sweeter coffee.
Drip coffee is also fantastic, and you can order any of their available syrups as an add-on, so I usually get drip coffee with cream and honey lavender syrup.
Great spot for dates, to hang out, or just grab a coffee!
