It's a really nice coffee spot with staff that know everyone about coffee and can give great advice and suggestions. It's expensive (4 bucks for an espresso, 6 or 7 for a drip) but everything is made on the spot, with high quality ingredients and it takes time and attention to make. There are really good pastries too and they offer non disposable dishes which I really appreciate. My biggest complaint is the selection of coffee beans is limited and they only have light roasts which is not great for anyone who doesn't like fruity / sour type coffees. And a tip - the store right next door has great acai bowls which go well with a coffee.

The dirty chai is the best drink I've had here. I'm a drip or pour over person and i find their roasts and brews too light on flavor. If you order online, when you arrive at the pick up time they always seem to be just starting your order. Pastries supplied by Midwife and the Baker are most excellent!

Nice place with great vibes, coffee is good if you like latte, I am myself an espresso type of gal and it was gross. The espresso was bitter, salty and it had no natural foam that usually happens when you brew it (i do not recommend buying espresso here) however I tried a latte and it was better than Starbucks. I would give it a 5 stars but the espresso was a dissatisfaction.

I paid 6$ without tips for latte, pricey but worth it. I usually get latte from Starbucks only, but I think I’ve another favorite spot now. It was delicious with a cute cream design on it.

If only for the beauty of the art. I would give a 5 star. They make excellent coffee.

One of the best coffee spot in the valley. Skillful baristas making top notch espresso based drinks. Tends to get very busy during peak hours, as all the coffee enthusiasts flock here to get their fix. Yesterday all pastries ran out early on, and I sent them an email giving feedback, to which they immediately responded that they’re gonna make sure there are enough pastries next time! Excellent customer service all around.

The food doesn't look like the picture of it on Instagram. It was not bad, but wouldn't come back.

Small but high quality place

Easily *the best* coffee place in Mountain View and one of the best in the area! I've been a regular to this place for years now. The baristas know how to make a proper espresso drink - just top notch stuff! They also have a decent selection of pastries with some vegan choices too.

For third wave enthusiasts, 1 oz has a rotating guest roaster selection, which is fairly unique in the South Bay. They’ve sold and prepared Onyx, Black & White, Brandywine, and many other fantastic roasters, which is nice for those that don’t spend a lot of time ordering coffee online. I’ve been here at least 100 times and have had a good experience every time. Would easily put this in competition for the best shop in the area with their experienced baristas.
