Great prices for this tourist town. Good down to earth service & food. Love their mural!

Wonderful atmosphere, patio has a canopy and heaters so it's comfy even in cold blustery weather. The rockfish was delicious!

Located in the beautifully charming seaside town, Mendocino Cafe is a perfect spot for a quick pint or glass of wine as you explore the quaint town.
We indulged in their clam chowder...might be the best I’ve ever had! And to top it all off they have great service!

Mixed about the food. Bread and beer were good. The Masala vegetables were cooked perfectly, but the chicken was blah. My partner did not prefer the light clam chowder; however, I thought it was a nice change. He liked the blackberry pie; it didn't sing for me. Service was prompt. For the price point, I would have expected more yumminess. Based on the other reviews, I may try it again -- perhaps the lunch fare

Ate on the patio, dog friendly! Shared platters of food between the 4 of us. Delicious food and very helpful and friendly staff!!

Came for dinner on a busy Saturday. Service was still pretty good and plenty of outdoor seating under their giant tent. Food was all good and a little healthier.

Spectacular--a comfy-casual environment with indoor and outdoor seating and Mendocino views, but the star of the show is the food. Every table was raving about its food experience--we were focused on chicken (one Mendocino salad with chicken and one Asian stir fry with chicken), and both dishes were exceptional. Friendly, efficient service handled the crowd well.

Outstanding service, food and atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Best meal we have had in a while. Highly recommend.

Eclectic is an accurate description of this spot. We had a lovely dinner with appetizer, split dinner, two glasses of wine and dessert for around $100 with tip.

Our server was a man with a tattoo on his arm, he was very accommodating and attentive. There are a bunch of vegan options already on the menu, but I made the breakfast burrito vegan by subbing out the eggs for tofu and it was delicious. The guac was really fresh and flavorful. Prices are good too, considering the location and quality!
