It was a nice sunny morning, just in time for lunch so we parked ourselves at the outdoor patio. The staff here is super nice and friendly, service is quick. I'm not sure how to label the food here. I got a Thai curry shrimp wrap, my daughter got a chicken Cesar and my other daughter got a pesto pesto chicken panini. The food is solid here and everything is fresh.

Great food. Pot Roast and Brazilian Fish Stew were both great. Also, the BlackBerry pie. Fair wine prices. Friendly and attentive service. Highly recommended!

We had dinner here during the COVID era. They have some vegetarian & vegan options. Service was good. We were served outdoors in a tented area with heat lamps & a nice natural ambiance.

Outstanding lunch, bring your puppy and they’ll make you all feel welcome. We had clams and mussels and the chili Verde which was just outstanding

Good food in a great setting. The garden is in full bloom (as of late May) and is absolutely stunning.

The Mendocino Cafe is informal, not too pricey, and has always been popular with the locals. They have a few outdoor tables on a small deck which overlooks a lovely perennial garden with an occasional peek at the ocean.
Their eclectic menu includes large salads, seafood, and both meat and vegetarian dishes. My favorites are the Thai burrito and the Thai fire pot (which is really not that spicy). Save some room to sample their excellent dessert menu.

My husband & I visited last week, and found the food to be bland and overpriced. The nachos left something to be desired, the hamburger was boring and the fish tacos were very bland. For as much as I ended up paying, at least one dish should have been good.

We had lunch on their outside patio. It was pretty crowded. We ordered the chicken sandwich and the lentil veggie soup. I didn't like the soup so much, the sandwich was good. Service was ok, There's only one shared bathroom which is not enough for a cafe like that. there was a long line waiting for that one bathroom.

Got into town late, around 7:30, starving and looking for someplace that would seat us immediately without reservations.
Mendocino Cafe was recommended by another restaurant that was booked solid and it was a great find. Tiny little place, didn't look like much on the exterior. The menu convinced us to go in.
Very small but cozy dining room. Friendly staff and even live music. Food was great. I had the Thai Fire Pot with chicken while my friend had the Thai Burrito with chicken. Both were delicious. The broth in the Fire Pot was especially satisfying on a cold and rainy night.
Many other good things I would have like to try on their menu, including dessert! Will just have to go back to Mendo! #ReviewLocal
