Nice patio areas to dine in, wonderful friendly service. The pastries look heavenly, we tried only one - the blueberry muffin. It could have used more blueberries throughout the bottom part and they were overly sweet with a cake like batter. Maybe some lemon added would have been nice? And some oats, grains or nuts? The fish and chips were yummy, French fries were perfect with lots of crispy peel. However no lemon came with the fish. Strange. And the side salad was dry - no dressing at all, not even a little olive oil. The breakfast burrito was huge, good but the bacon in it was almost all just fat. A nice addition would have been some avocado. The homemade salsa was excellent as were the home fries. Perfection.

Best breakfast we've had in quite awhile! They have all sorts of pastries/baked goods, every imaginable breakfast drink, all sorts of crafts. They also do lunch.

Remarkably fast service on food and drink! Order up front at counter, they give you number, then pick up drinks at outside counter, take them and number to whatever open table you want. Some indoor seating, good amount of outdoor seating in a semi enclosed/protected space.

Chile Relleno omelette was excellent, as was the chicken veggie soup and the country fried steak. Home fries were perfect! Loved the hot cider, hot toddy, coffee, and tea.

Loved the fish n chips. The fish was so crunchy and cooked to perfection.
Mimosa was refreshing
Pecan cinnamon bread was huge and tasty.
Cider was perfect for the weather.
Tons of outdoor seating as well.

Such a big place but only 1 super tiny restroom.

Good spot for brekkie. Had the bear paw, cardamon/orange morning bun and everything bagel sandwich. All high quality stuff. Bear paw was top 5 ever because lots of almonds and not too sweet. Love the filtered water dispenser.

Good food options including Vegan ones. Coffee was made very well. Staff is welcoming. They have indoor and patio sitting. There was queue but food came after 10 minutes.

One star less for their 5 USD plus on a 15 dollar dish for Tofu and despite requesting twice, they added all deep fried tofu. We had to take all that out.

They add 15% gratuity by default.

Incredible food! One of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had. The gluten free bread was to die for. Super friendly staff! Cannot wait to come back the next time we’re in town.

Even though it’s the only breakfast place in town, we wouldn’t go anywhere else next time even if we could. Staff was quick and polite even though they don’t rely on tips(they’re included). Food was fast, steaming, fresh, beautiful, and delicious. They get the details right at Good Life Cafe.

We were walking thru Mendocino on a blustery day when we felt the need for a cup of Joe. My brother went with a traditional latte and I chose a caramel brûlée latte. They were both delicious! My latte was just the right balance of caramel, milk and espresso. We shared a delicious day ok blueberry lemon scone that hit the spot. I love scones and this was all they had left, but we got two for the price of one! The breakfast and lunch menu looks awesome and they feature beautiful artwork by a family of artists from Guatemala on the walls. The folks here were the nicest.

Nice coffee place and great selection of food. The outdoor patio was not that clean with lots of bird p. everywhere, not sure what they can do about it but it would have made it nicer and 5 star!

Very populated cafe on a Saturday at 11 am! We snagged one of the last indoor seating tables after ordering our food. There was a wide selection of pastries. The hot apple cider warmed me up on the inside. The spicy Mexican mocha was a fun take on mocha. The breakfast burrito is yummy and quite large. The chicken fried steak is tasty as well.

I loved the other items for sale as well such as their chai tea kit, mugs from local artists and other merch.
