High Country Health Foods

This is an Amazing grocery store and cafe. Most often I usually have a cup of their great local coffee while I do my shopping. They have an abundance of products and food to choose from. Plus their gourmet meals in the cafe are prepared to individual taste. I always make it point to visit this place on my way to Yosemite.

The breakfast burrito was simply amazing! The choices for shakes were healthy and delicious, too.

Stopped at High Country on our way to Yosemite. Ordered two great sandwiches and was served very courteously and efficiently by Teresa. An hour later we enjoyed the sandwiches while staring at El Capitan in all its glory along the Merced River. But here's why I needed to give this place five stars and a rave review: I absent-mindedly left my backpack there. In it was a rather expensive camera and lens. When I finally realized it, we were already in Yosemite Valley. I called them on my cell phone and Tim answered. He was already on it. Told me they had already found the backpack and when they saw it had a nice camera in it, they immediately locked it up in a closet for safekeeping. A few hours later, we returned to the shop and they seemed as happy as I was that the backpack was safely back in my hands. Wonderful, friendly people. They deserve all the business they can get. Please go there!

Great shop with good health food selection. Fairly limited with vegan options. The deli counter (when open) is a great place to get a delicious sandwich or falafel. Staff very helpful and friendly.

GREAT GLUTEN-FREE OPTION IN MARIPOSA! They do offer any of their sandwiches on gluten free bread or wraps, just be sure to let them know if you’re Celiac, or have an intolerance or allergy. If you do, they’ll take precautions. They also usually have a GF breakfast quiche and at least one dessert that’s GF. The potato chips they carry are safe.

It’s a great place to pick up snacks/lunch on a trip to Yosemite. Not a huge selection, but good enough

I love this business for both grocery as well as lunch. Very clean, well organized items. Very knowledgeable if you have questions. Full stock of grocery choices.

We stopped here not viewing it online or expecting anything and Woah what a surprise. Probably best sandwiches I have ever had. Great food, amazing coffee, great welcoming staff. I love this place

Great healthy sandwiches to bring for lunch when hiking in Yosemite. Staff is very nice too!

It's so nice to come to a small town and find a place like this! They were able to make a meal for me and my partner to fit our dietary requirements with no hassle at all. They shop is also great!
