Waffle Cafe

4.5 stars. The wait was long, but worth it! I gave them 4.5 stars, because the floors were really sticky, but we aren't eating on the floors! The food was great, a little more pricey than the corporate joints up the street, but this is a local joint. I ordered the ham steak and eggs. My eggs were cooked to a perfect over medium. I scarfed it down. My husband ordered the French toast, he ate it all. My 2 older daughters ordered Banana and Pecan waffles, and a triple stack with 4 slices of bacon and egg whites. My daughters didn't eat all their breakfast, but they packed it in a doggy bag. My toddler shared all of our fare; we had enough to share. The servers were very attentive. My husband was brewed a fresh, decaffeinated coffee (he gave up caffeine for lent). Great place to eat, the bathroom was pretty clean. Esthetic wise, an update is needed, but overall the servers and food were great. We will be back.

I got the strawberry almond waffle and it tasted very good. It tasted like fresh home made waffles. The service was great. The seats were comfortable. It's definitely a place I would like to go again.

I was greeted with a smile. I asked if my family members arrived and was told I can go search the floor for them. Being the first one to arrive I was then seated in a booth to wait for my family to arrive, they were only 2 hours late... I was given coffee after around 10 minutes of waiting, no problem. However as an hour of waiting I had to ask a few servers for a refill. I can only assume the looks I was getting by the servers was "is this guy ever going to order"?
Having been a waiter myself you see a variety of customers and cannot judge a book by its cover. You do all you are capable to keep the customers comfortable and drinks full. That is the extent of my visit before my family arrived. This place was chosen by my father in law and he wanted my opinion on how this place was as he truly enjoys the place for its food and service. Being a belated birthday present for me it was a nice setting.

The Waffle Cafe is overall a good place to come and eat.
The service is above par and the food is above average.
They are a little more expensive than most restaurants in this class, but I'd rather pay a little more to get good service and decent food cooked to your satisfaction.

Great place for a large variety of breakfast choices. The portion sizes are very big and all the food had great taste/flavor... definitely a place you want to visit for breakfast

Food is really good and they give pretty big size plates full but prices are a bit high but that's everywhere these days with the high prices but it is good

Great place to go for breakfast!!!! Omelettes are large and taste great!!
The service was excellent....never an empty coffee cup...unless you're done!!

Pancakes are huge and prepared just right. Coffee is hot and strong. Looking forward to next visit.

It was very noisy and kind of dark for daytime. We had 7 people in our party. The waitress was very nice and friendly. I would eat there again.

Food was delicious. They make it easy if you want to split plates. The actual restaurant could use some updates
