The Unknown

The Original Farmers Market was truly a hidden gem. The market had a wide variety of high-quality, fresh produce and a great selection of specialty items such as artisan cheeses, baked goods and homemade jams. The atmosphere was upscale and elegant, with many of the vendors dressed in traditional farmers attire, adding to the authenticity of the experience. The vendors were all knowledgeable and friendly, and the overall atmosphere was lively and welcoming. I especially appreciated the live music and the seating areas that allowed me to relax and enjoy my purchases. The only downside was that it was a bit pricey, but I found it well worth it for the quality and atmosphere. I would highly recommend this market to anyone looking for a unique and upscale farmers market experience.

Nice market to shop and catch a bite to eat. There is a parking garage with 8 levels which tells you how many spots are available on each floor. There is a World Market, Container Store, bookstore and several other shops. They have sit down restaurants around the area but plenty of order from the counter and find a seat food options too. It's a really cool place. It's right next to the CBS studios.

The Farmer's Market never lets you down. It's a nice place for an evening stroll, get a quick bite, and/or buying fresh fruit and vegetables.

This place has lots of good places. The choices are overwhelming and it was hard for us to chose. Some of the decor in the street was nice.

A must-see for anyone visiting Los Angeles. This is always on my list when I am in town. Bobs donuts is first on my list. An assortment of food from every culture can be found at this outdoor marketplace. Conveniently located next to The Grove, a fabulous outdoor mall with great restaurants! There is plenty of parking with some free parking time.

Very fun. Lots of good restaurants and food stands to dine in or take out; interesting shops; bakeries, produce, meats, poultry, nuts, candy, etc.

Farmer’s Market is a real farm fresh supplier of fruit, vegetables, produce and a whole lot more!
My favorite lunch stop when taking my out of town visitors around LA.
From prepared meals, to take home items, there’s something for just about everyone!
Snacks, fruits and veggies of seemingly endless variety can be bagged to take on the go.
There’s a small gourmet grocery store, a magazine shop with postcards, souvenir shops, coffee shops, bars and specialty shops.
Everybody likes something different, so here, we can find amazing selections to choose from of ready to eat meals!
Stalls with kitchens prepare food to serve on Farmer’s Market dishes with tray’s to go. Diner’s can then take their food to outside tables, placed conveniently around the stalls, or to tables with more privacy in upstairs rooms. Trash containers are placed all around the market, where disposables are discarded. Trays, dishes and washable tableware are left on top of the containers for cleaning crews to retrieve.
The Farmers Market Office upstairs has a visitors center included! They’re so helpful with information, services, events and sales of mementos, such as Farmers Market t-shirts. Next to the office, is a designated driver-guide lounge.
Parking at the Farmers Market lots is free with Farmers Market validation for the first 90 minutes. Paid parking is also available in the covered garage at Farmer’s Market Place, or on the backside off of The Grove Drive.
Across the parking lots are even more stores, shops and restaurants. A small postal office is located in the building to the north near Fairfax Av. Beyond that building is the CBS Studios, known for television programs, including the game show The Price Is Right. Tagged participants and audience members are often seen at the Farmers Market to shop and eat after the show.
Restrooms are located thru the hallway at the east end of the market, behind the section where Bob's Coffee and Doughnuts counter is located.
Also past the big Farmers Market clock tower, following the trolley tracks eastbound is the Grove outdoor shopping mall, with trendy stores, shops and restaurants. The trolley, if available, can take passengers to the far end of the Grove. There, the parking garage is accessible and a loop around loading zone is shared with ride services and valets.
There may also be more available options of shopping and eating places across 3rd Street and S. Fairfax Ave.
By the way, that’s one of LA’s most famous intersections. ‘Meet me at Third and Fairfax’ as the saying goes!
