I went there around evening time. There are lots of shopping 🛍️ stores are available also the inside of Farmers Market fill up with some traditional stores and restaurants. Special attractions are riding trolley 🚋, visiting the garden and enjoying the water dropping sound from fountain.

We really enjoyed the Farmers Market! There were just too many vendors with great food and interesting crafts. The vibe is awesome with so many people from all walks of life blending together. The location is great right near The Grove and other fab shopping. We’re planning another trip to CA just to hang out in this area.

Best farmers market I have ever been to. First thing I come to when visiting Los Angeles. Huge places with so many choices. A foodie lovers dream come true. The choices are endless. Fresh fruits and vegetables. Love the meat market. Many gift shops to choose from. A must stop if in town.

The Original Farmer's Market offers many dining and snacking options from fresh juices to chocolates, ice cream, donuts, delis, cafes, seafood, sushi, empanadas, and your weekly fresh fruit grocery run.
Apothecaries and naturopathic options also abound. This is an exciting stop for the authentic shopper and for anyone looking for a diversity of accessible and quick dining options.
Open-air facility.

The Brazilian spot on the first photo offers by far the best meat I had in LA. So yummy! I tried lamb and beef. It is 5 meters from the historical gas station. No waiters, a free flow cafe. Hence it is fairly affordable. A plate full of stuff plus lamb plus a doctor pepper was below 20 dollars. A good deal.
Many more food there.
Including fresh fruit. Peaches smell super. Nice souvenirs (crafty magnets and key holders) are also sold nearby.

went to the farmers market on Wednesday sadly we’ve had lunch before so we only got ice cream there which was good. It’s more food court by the locals vs get good local bargains (very few stores left). If you wanna do shopping you’ll be able to do that on the grove. I do want to go back and try the Brazilian place- their food smelled amazing.
*** take in mind, that if you’re nose I sensitive to smells, there are a lot of those in the market, so you might want to avoid it.

It's a landmark since 1934 and the food stalls and the French market remain a draw. Great selection of ethnic cuisine from pot pies to kebabs to Mexican. Not as many fresh produce stores but those there are excellent. Great for locals and tourists alike. Limited validated parking. The Grove next door is an added attraction

It was beautifully decorated for christmas and there was alot of people just enjoying the restaurants , bars and other shops that were there.
The only thing that is a bit frustrating is finding a parking spot.
Other than that really nice vibe and great place to enjoy some family time or just be on your own.
