Stumptown Coffee Roasters

Did someone say good coffee, or did they say "Stumptown"? They're basically synonymous - excellent coffee and coffee products. The pastries they sell are nothing to sneeze at either, awesomely gooey cookies and other wonderful things pair beautifully with the coffee.

The interior is spartan but useful, with bar style tables set up. WiFi is solid, so you see quite a few people working while sipping.

If you're near this area, and you like coffee, you've got to give it a shot!

Pro tip - The outdoor space is on a main, high traffic road. Relaxing with coffee and a pastry only to have a garbage truck blow by doesn't equate to the best experience possible, so understand that before sitting outside.

Stumptown makes a great mocha. Their coffee is roasted properly, so you don't get that burnt taste. Good stuff! Stylish and streamlined interior with nice seating area just outside.

Stumptown is one of the great! Love this location too, sometimes a little hard to find parking.

Coffee taste is really good but always I need to ask for extra hot to get the right temperature. I found a fly inside the pastry display. The girl saw it and move it out, however kept selling the pastries.... Not hygienic at all. We need a good sense here people!

This place has really good coffee. I've had stumptown espresso at other restaurants, but it's always better here. Plus it's in the downtown arts district so there's plenty to do around here. I got an iced chai with oat milk. I don't know what the hell I was doing, but it was good. It wasn't too sweet. I usually just get an iced or hot latte. Always good.

I got a chance to try their iced coffee and was blown away! Normally I don't like iced coffee (beans too cooked, bitter, etc) but I have to say that Stumptown Coffee is delicious!!! Who knew I'd love Portland's coffee but I just can't resist the coffee!

All I can say is if the iced coffee is great the hot must be over the moon! I've only had the cold to go coffee (in glass container - unsweetened/no cream & paper - cream/sweet).

Husband and I had our second visit here and last year I attributed the hurried inattentive service to St. Patties Day, but it is just their regular service standard. Food quality is poor for the price and every worker seemed to wait for us to leave. Don’t care about your customers any more and they will stop coming.
