Proper Coffee

This is the best coffee shop in LA hands down. The coffee is so good! The staff are so warm and inviting and super knowledgeable about coffee! As someone who used to come to this location when it was a coffee bean & tea leaf I can surely say that I’m glad Qargo moved in and took the coffee shop experience to the next level!

Great place! Espresso beans are ground to order for each espresso shot. I personally loved the drinks I tried (mocha latte and vanilla latte). Their desserts are amazing, but $6-$10 for a slice of cake which is fair for how delicious they are. Many of the baked goods are baked daily by the morning crew. King, the manager, is incredibly kind and great.

Brooke and Sarah are AMAZING! They are super friendly, kind, and make delicious drinks. Every morning I walk in and they know my order and know me well enough to suggest things I’d like! They are wonderful!!!

The staff is very friendly and go further to satisfy customers, this store is not a bit expensive, you don’t compete in this days of big changes, with only quality (coffee is the best) is too too expensive for me, a cappuccino and a croissant $ 10 dollars? . Is not for me , it seems competition does better on prices, maybe you do your best, is not enough !
Take care now, maybe when things go better for many, I’ll return !
Oh, by the way! When are you going to use your ceramic cups, because the taste of a coffee in a
Heated cup …. Is amazing, been waiting too long to try one myself !
All the products are over priced, look into that to attract more customers, if you know what I mean ……

Super Cozy coffee shop ! Love the design details, very modern, great ambience over all. Coffee was absolutely delicious and the pastries were freshly baked. I’m definitely going back to Qargo and work from there while enjoying the best coffee. Congrats !

The food and drinks were great, lots of variety! The service was exceptional! The owner was super knowledgeable and patient with our undeciding 7 yr old! It definitely had a small Italian town coffee shop feel. We will be back!

Very friendly staff and great cold brew coffees. Also got a breakfast sandwich that was perfect for a quick grab and go! Def a fun local spot with delicious coffee, can’t wait to try some more flavors.

Major kudos to the new coffee joint in town! When I inquired about a coffee item on the menu, they were 100% honest with me! And I decided against it. That's great service! Instead of getting something I probably wouldn't have liked or finished, I ended up with an amazing nitro cold brew! Super friendly staff. (hard to come by in LA for sure). I will be back! Lots of interesting menu items and food looks good too! Welcome to PDR!

Really nice ambiance inside. Best place in the area to get a little work done. Still waiting on the cold brew, but I have been several times and the service is friendly.

This place is awesome. The gentlemen were kind and considerate. They answered our questions regarding the coffee roasts and explained to us the difference. They take true pride in their art. I even got a tea latte!! Highly recommend if you are in the area.
