Friendly staff was welcoming and helpful in recommending a dessert. I wanted a chunky foamy chocolatey pastry and I knew that the texture of Opera was going to fulfill the richness of chocolate and mousse altogether. I definitely recommend it if you have a sweet tooth. As for my meal I went straight for their Parisian omelette which comes with three mini slices of bread + Greens. The omelette is made of organic eggs, thick cut ham, mushroom and Swiss cheese. I normally think eating an omelette is on the heavier side because of the stuffing in veggies/meat/cheese, but this one was a little lighter and perfect portion to enjoy for brunch. I can’t wait to come back next time I’m around :)

Delicious croissant, incredibly friendly staff, cozy interior! Perfect for a morning pick me up.

I stopped here to pick up coffee one morning, when I was visiting LA. The pastries in their display looked irresistible and I had to try their chocolate almond croissant! And boy, this croissant was so delicious, perfect amount of crumbly, soft, buttery, crunchy and chocolatey. I had to go back the next morning for a second taste because I couldn’t get it out of my mind.

I visited my family in Los Angeles CA and we hoped to find a great French pain.(bread).

I am not a connoisseur of all things French, but I really enjoyed this restaurant.

They have: coffee, pastries, ambiance, street parking ( or paid $6.00+), tables inside and out, restroom for patrons and t shirts for sale.

$6-$10 for a patisserie, It's well worth the money.

It's a treat to enjoy great flavors, and I'll be back.

First don’t get the apple tart! It has apple sauce inside it and not sliced or poached apples. Other than that everything is incredible! Friendly employees and the food is so good. We ate here everyday for breakfast while we were in town for a convention and cannot wait to come back. The name translates to kiddo in English if you didn’t know!

Very nice place to have breafast in Los Angeles but parking is their biggest issue. They have scramble eggs and good coffee. Their OJ is descent although small size. There is plenty of sweets to choose from including eclair, many tart, danish and croissant options, My favorite is the Flan Parisien, pretty close to the original from Paris, France.

Pitchoun has a large pastry selection, both traditional French stuff like croissants and eclairs, and Americans favorites like scones muffins. There are plenty of seatings inside as well as outside in a charming patio.

I had a croissant and canele. The croissant isn't very flaky, so a bit disappointing considering this is a French bakery.

Beautiful place with great welcoming staff. The food was amazing and the staff was attentive and competent. Would definitely be visiting again whenever in town! Must visit for breakfast if you are around.

Wonderful food. When we went a little busy but got a table. Food tantalizes to your senses. Staff very polite and professional. Comfortable and aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

I stopped in Pitchoun! just before closing and was surprised by the large selection they still had available. There were lots of pastries, breads, cakes, and cookies left. I got a caramel vanilla eclair and a lemon meringue tart, which were both very tasty. I got lucky with parking, there are some street spots right in front of the bakery. I will say there was one fruit tart in the case that was clearly burnt, I'm not sure why they were put out and not thrown away. But everything else looked phenomenal.

Loved this place for its fresh croissants and coffee. The place is well maintained and has inside and outdoor seating available. Their specialty coffees are also good, and the desserts were too good.
