Philz Coffee

They have a great coffee and tea menu with lots of different flavors and different roasts. There bran muffin is not dry as they often can be at some places this was moist and delicious I recommend this place they also have a nice little outdoor patio as well as indoor seating

I was there and Zeenat Shultz is lying about the incident. What actually went down was a hodgepodge of disobedience, incompentence and overall just plain rudeness from Zee's end. Smh zee you was just being salty cause I didn't text you back. Take this L zee and remember I always win zee:0 me:15 . Overall good coffee tho💯

I'd heard great things about Philz, so i decided to check out their DTLA location.

First of all, their coffee is great. Easily the best as far as chain coffee shops go. Their specialty drinks are unique and totally worth trying, if you haven't been there.

But i had to dock Philz -2 stars here. The place is LOUD. Louder than a lot of bars I've been to. It didn't help that they were blaring crappy pop music the entire time.

Not exactly a good atmosphere for relaxing or getting work done (a lot of people there were wearing headphones, not surprising).

In the future I'll probably stick with the smaller "indie" coffee shops...where the coffee is just as good as Philz, but where you can actually sit down and hear yourself think.

Such a pretencious place! I consider more or less knowledgeable about coffee, and I wasn't sure how to order. Thankfully the staff was helpful for selecting the right coffee blend and preparation style.

Since they pretty much only do pour-over coffee, ordering can take a while. However, I was pleasantly surprised to still find a place to work despite how crowded it was. You probably wouldn't be so lucky if you were in a group. I worked for four hours and no one ever bothered me about taking up space.

Overall good coffee, ok place to work, and I would definitely go back.

Excellent coffee and tea, tasty baked goods. Really good for the sheer range of teas and coffees!

Top quality coffee made after you order. I haven't tried their coffee hot but their Philz Coffee's variety of coffees make it easy to try a new roast for every visit. Their iconic mint mojito is delicious but my favorite is their Philharmonic iced coffee with half and half.

Came here after seeing the high ratings and reviews and walked out wishing I had gone somewhere else. Staff was nice but the ordering process felt confused and unorganized. I got an iced coffee - black (no cold brew options apparently which seems very “behind-the-times” to me) and it was painfully average. When I ordered the barista seemed surprised I didn’t want milk or sugar which tells me this place is not the spot for a coffee purist. Personally very underwhelmed

The coffee is always great and the people making the coffee are fun and always fo a good job making the coffee. They always ask for you to taste your coffee to make sure that you like it. It's a great spot for a quick pick me up after my long commute to work or on my way home.

My boyfriend and I had been looking for a place that would make a beautiful cake for our wedding day. We looked at several different shops in the Glendale area as well as Culver City and ultimately decided to go with
Philz Coffee. I am so happy with the results!

These guys make some awesome coffee. Never had a bad cup. I'm not a big coffee snob but this stuff is GOOD. Mocha Tesora is amazing, but a lot of their other types are great too. Nice spot for a cup while you're walking around downtown
