Absolutely enjoyable coffee! Nice place, good service, but only no tissue napkins can be found.

This location is difficult to get to if you do not live within walking distance. Parking is limited...but possible. You almost have to visit in pairs...drop one off while other looks for parking. My drink was a medium medium...but it was still kind of sweet when I left. I know they would have fixed it...but I was in a hurry and never had sweet issues previously in the bay area.

Nice decor, friendly staff and great coffee!

Good service, reasonably quick and friendly. The hot chai tea with almond milk I ordered was very disappointing. They added two sprigs of mint to it, which upon first taste I didn't notice. But once I left and started drinking it, I realized the mint and the rest of the chai flavors were in direct contrast and I couldn't finish the drink as the taste was unpleasant.

Easily the single best coffee I've ever crossed paths with. Strong without tasting burnt or bitter. They mix in the cream/sugar for you, then whip it into a froth. Mine came out tasting just south of a cafe moca...without the chocolate!

Croissant was stale, tasted like coffee which tells me it was old and sat there long enough to absorb the smell of the store. I went there 9 am on a Tuesday, which also tells me they don't sell fresh pastries. Paid $3.75 for one croissant. They also got a B health rating a few months ago. Skeptical. Bay Area is better.

I went here after walking from Whole Foods on a Sunday afternoon. They had a bit of line but they move fast. You order first then pay then wait until they call your name. The line will not move unless the server is done making your drink. I had the Chamomile tea with ice, I like it since it's not too sweet even though they put honey already.
I would go back to try their other tea drinks.

I paid an impromptu visit here under the advisement of a friend. I ordered the mint mojito with the Ethiopian decaf coffee. I am immediately hooked and bear in mind that I'm not a regular coffee drinker. The environment is open and friendly, especially considering that dogs are welcome in the shop. Orders are placed and picked up directly with one of the baristas. Expect about a 10-min wait for your coffee. I noticed that the coffee is made pour-over style, for those who are curious. Haven't tried their pastries but the variety and quality looks attractive. Pricey coffee but worth it!

Never go to this place again - I get the idea of total service. But is it to hard to give people the opportunity to pure in milk and sugar by themselves?? I spend 5$ on a coffee and told the guy I want sugar. He gave me sweetener, so I already had to go back. Asked for sugar a second time. Had to go back to the guy who made my coffee just to be told that he can put in the sugar for me. And that after I told him 3 times before that I want to do it myself because I know HOW MUCH I NEED!!!! He didn't even gave me the choice to do it myself... If you don't have any special orders - you can go there - but it seems like sugar and milk is to big of a problem... Left my coffee there because it was way to horrible to drink. And because the girl who cashed me out didn't gave me a receipt - I didn't even got my money back.

Thanks for nothing!!! - yeah it's just a coffee and no need to be upset - but on the other hand, it's just coffee and I was just asking for milk and sugar. And then don't want to give me back 5$??? Well done people, well done!!

So the Phil's sandwich was so good I couldn't even take a picture of it! Everything about the place shouts SoCal and City of Angels. An excellent selection of coffee made to order with the beans ground right in front of your face. The baristas then ask you to flavor and color your coffee to your sweet expectations. I look forward to returning next time I'm in LA.
