No Ghost Bears

Super cute aesthetic. Even better coffee. Unique flavors and taste was great. Food was equally as good and worth the wait. 2 girls working were killing it. One explained that they're currently short staffed, but they were fantastic and had great attitudes despite being so busy. Ended up grabbing a tee too since their merch was as cute as the shop. Highly recommend!

My girlfriend, son, and I were in the area and in need of coffee. Found this nice spot as we were walking downtown.

The coffee tasted really good. We had the iced Americano. Very strong and hit the spot. The heart straws were super cute too. 💜 We also decided to get bagels. My girlfriend got the vegan bagel with avocado while I got the jalapeño cheese bagel with cream cheese. Both tasted fresh and yummy.

The coffee shop's design and furniture were pretty cool and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back if we find ourselves in the area in the future.

I was excited to check out No Ghost Bears after a barista recommended it to me, but after a couple of mediocre visits, I still don't get it.

This Downtown LA end-of-alley coffee shop looks gloomy, even dreadful with its black and white Japanese anime inspired drawings all over the counter wall and its dimly lit pink neon lights. The atmosphere would be more suitable for a night club than a coffee shop.

No Ghost Bears is probably famous for the unique menu of special drinks, not the lavender latte type of stuff you'll find everywhere. I tried two of them. Their signature Bruce Lee is latte with condense milk and it tastes to me just another version of flavored latte, less syrupy but it's not something that I'd think about once I'm done. The Al Puccino, a honey cinnamon cappuccino with oat milk was more special to me, it's tasty with an interesting silky texture.

Given the unique decor and vibe, and its plenty of special drinks, I totally understand that No Ghost Bears is some people's cup of cake. It's just not mine.

Found this awesome place with my family. I had the vegan bagel with everything and it was everything and more. Super delicious! Their coffee was so good. Loved the decor inside and the outdoor seating we took to relax.

Took awhile to get our food, but worth the wait. One of the best avocado toasts I’ve had and the employees were super friendly and nice!

Not sure how many coffee joints I’ve experienced with amenities like NGB’s 420 box, but I’m here for it. Grab some caffeine and walk over to the flower market. Your loved ones will thank you.

I discovered a great steaming hot tasting cup of coffee here Great space a young man relaxing in the cafe windows and few people lined up to get there morning blend. I was drawn in and treated well.

I don’t usually do coffee shop reviews because I rarely drink coffee but today my overnight guest requested coffee and let’s face it “No Ghost Bears” sounds much cooler than “Starbucks” so I decided to try NGB! The baristas are super cool the whole vibe to this place felt chill and judgement free. It’s kind of hidden but if you’re in the area stop by also I got the Chagaccino, I’m not a coffee drinker but it’s worth a try I promise!

Super nice staff and great coffee. Outdoor spots for sitting and drinking your cuppa in the sun.

I will drink this coffee everyday for the rest of my life. If anyone, or anything gets in my way, I will do what is necessary to ensure that I can indulge in my daily, premium quality cup of coffee.

I've been waiting for a place like this my entire life, and I've found it. Some people go to Church, others listen to music, specialize in the military, they follow their heart to find what completes them. While I may not be singing hymns, blasting Led Zeppelin or jumping out of Apache helicopters, I most definitely am enjoying a large iced latte with almond milk. Have you ever even tasted quality?

If you've not been here, you're most certainly missing out. Do you really want to face your grandchildren on your deathbed, having no true stories or tales about the finer things in life, such as premium, gourmet espresso?

You don't want that. I'll tell you what you do want though:

You want a large iced latte with almond milk. If you don't want that, you want a cappuccino, or maybe you simply want a black coffee. Is it hot? You want a cold brew.

Fact of the matter is, you want something, and that something can be found at No Ghost Bears.
