LAMILL Coffee - Silverlake

Amazing!!

By far the best coffee shop around. The quality of beans and light roast make for an excellent cup of coffee. I tend to go for the single origin coffees, which allow you to really taste the bean specifically. the food is also incredible here which is very rare for a Coffee Shop/ Cafe.

Ok this is a MUST VISIT site. The velvet blend coffee is some of the smoothest tastiest coffee I've ever tasted.... and I don't drink coffee! My wife loved the taste and I even enjoyed the sip I stole. We had the donut holes which were warm and delicious cro-nut tasting clouds of taste bud tantalizing heaven. Served with a whipped cream these are amazing! Busy place but yet never felt like it, you still are able to slip into your own little world here. The servers were very attentive and beyond polite. Simply loved our visit.

Oh Lamill, so pretty but so expensive. They include a 12.5 % “service fee” that you aren’t warned about and end up tipping on top of. No one knows where it goes... but the food, coffee and ambiance are great - and despite having paid over $12 extra for bacon & avocado on a breakfast sandwich i do still come work on my laptop here.

I loved my white sangria! My first experience with it was at #happy hour and it was $4 but anytime before that it's $8. It's delicious but definitely not worth that. Especially when they pack so much ice inside that its the first thing that hits your lips! The food I tried here overpriced and was not that great. The warm donuts look alot very than they taste!

I go to Lamill pretty much on a daily basis. They make the best soy latte's in all of Silverlake. The staff is incredibly friendly. Just started trying their breakfast and so far so good. Their egg benedicts are really tasty as well as their pastries. Their outside seating is preferable since their chairs inside are extremely uncomfortable unless you are sitting in a booth. Unfortunately the sit down service can be hit or miss. Of the several times i have been there for breakfast, the service was great all but one time. But that one time was so horrible that we felt compelled to complain to the manager. Hopefully they have taken care of this problem because its a great spot to grab a quick coffee or some breakfast.

We end up at this place because the location is great. But the furniture is so strangely arranged and the chairs are oversized so it feels crowded and full even when there are only 10 people there. I guess what I'm trying to say, is that the food is lovely (expensive!! like, very expensive!) but the space could feel much cozier with a few adjustments. Replace the arm chairs-at-table thing with regular wooden chairs and you could fit twice as many people and wouldn't have to deal with the constant bumping of people "sneaking" by you. At least half the tables are occupied by a single person on a laptop. If I ran the place I'd make some seating specifically for "working" guests. On e large table with a bunch of plugs etc.

great donuts, the decor is great, looks very nice and clean. the coffee was very good, but not as distinctive as i was expecting. the donuts are amazingly good - other breakfast items are also very nice. little expensive and crowded.

This place is too pricy. I ordered an iced latter with non fat milk. They charged me "12.5% of service fee" of it. It's too much. I have never experienced like this in LA, even in NY.
If it was amazingly great coffee, I would never complain about it. But, seriously it's insane.

Saw this coffee shop while in line across the street at Milk. Out of curiosity I stopped by to try their coffee and saw that their pastries. I bought their chocolate chips cookies, banana nut bread. The coffee was fresh and the pastries were fresh and delicious. Great service...
