Shoutout to the patient cashier guy that explained to us all about their different teas. They have a large menu w/ a lot of specialty drinks. there is even 2 different types of black teas - Groundwork ( the stronger one) and Ceylon.

I ended up getting Groundwork with cheese foam and boba. If you like a strong tea taste, you really have to try it. It was my first time trying cheese foam so I don't have a point of comparison, but the foam Itself was a well balanced cheese and salty taste.

Burrito was Ok. $20.00+tips little bit expensive for breakfast.

I'd recommend the americano it is very good with a rich taste and not bitter what's so ever.
However the staff is not so bright and happy in the morning they gave me a weird look when walking in looking dapper and suited. The cash register lady was talking when she was supposed to be attending me and their is no greeting as "Good morning." But overall the music is good the seating is lovely and everyone else is happy and nice except the cashier lady. I give this place a 4/5 stars. Than You for reading.

Great coffee and atmosphere. My only minor nitpick is that the wall outlets are loose, so it's hard to charge your laptop.

I love this place. Located at the edge of the arts district, this chain shop still retains the flavor of the craft culture it came from. I can usually tell the quality of a shop by how they do their regular drip, and Groundwork passed with flying colors. And, if you're hungry for breakfast, pretty much anything on their menu will please. I can't say as to lunch, but increasing its just as good. There's WiFi, outlets, a good amount of indoor seating and some outdoor. If the street parking is full there's plenty of lot parking. Staff is friendly and expect a hipster crowd.

Coffee & staff are great!!! But I'm not about to spend $14 on a bagel with lox!!!

Even though this is a coffee shop, their coffee isn't good. They also offer a variety of tea which are nice tea. Their breakfast though is exceptional. I've had pretty much everything on their menu and everything was good! They have this amazing home made spicy sauce that goes well with pretty much everything. I tried their croissant and wasn't impressed; it was a bit chewy and not flaky as you'd expect in a croissant.

Visited around 9am on a Sunday and it was not crowded. YMMV. It was a clean shop with very friendly employees. The standard cold brew was potent but flavorful. Parking probably isn't easy around the location.

Great spot for breakfast. My gf and I love their day breaker and breakfast burrito. We swear by their Lucky Jack coffee beans and often buy a bag to brew at home. The baristas are always friendly and very helpful. I enjoy the atmosphere on the patio and will probably end up there today. Delayed to send this because "yes, I just got back from there" ha.
