Delicious espresso and OMG that burrito bite 😛😍🤩

The pastries to go with coffee and hot sandwiches are really good. It was very reasonably priced which I appreciated so much. I was really enjoyed my stay here. The server was very accommodating and made me feel very comfortable by answering all my questions thoroughly. I highly recommend this coffee shop to everyone.

A beautifully crafted coffee shop where you can feel how much love and experience every single cup has gone into. By offering distinct flavors and aromas, they seek to create unforgettable coffee experiences. I enjoy it so much because it soothes my mind and it's so soothing. They have pocketbooks if you are into reading novels. Terrific support!

There's not a lot of creative coffee options here, but what they do have is decent coffee. The inside is comfortable and modern, the barista's are polite and they make drinks really quickly.
I chose the Vietnamese iced coffee and it was pretty good, which is saying something because usually they just taste like milk, and the coffee here has a much stronger espresso flavor in it.
All in all, I'd recommend them for a quick coffee to grab while you walk around little Tokyo.

Food is the usual, service and atmosphere trumps Starbucks.

Love groundwork coffee and place. I come here all the time when I want to get any work done. I love the location in the art district and I just realized there’s a location close to my job too. As for the service, staff is chill and it’s not really loud so you can get work done or studying. Coffee is good and the food menu is alright. More on the breakfast side.

They have the kinds of coffees that would really satisfy your taste. The crew was really smiley, welcoming, and clearly very proud of the quality of their coffees and service. The place does get crowded as it’s fairly small, but it’s definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Came to Groundwork on a Wednesday afternoon with a friend to get some work done and we both had a great experience! Coffee was obviously good, but what impressed me the most was the friendliness of the staff.

There is a good amount of space available if you're planning to come with a laptop. Only thing is is that this coffee shop is popular so it can get packed! There were plenty of seats open when I came at around 1:30 PM within the next hour, all the seats had filled up! We stayed for a good 3 hours. Eventually I got hungry and ordered a chicken bowl which was yummy. I especially liked the cilantro lime rice.

Parking might be an issue, as street parking is limited. There are a few lots in the area you can park at, but prices might be steep. Unfortunately that's just the parking situation in LA.
