I got the pulled pork and hash bowl & the potatoes were so dark and overall just a greasy plate. Wouldn’t recommend for breakfast. Customer service is great though.

Breakfast tacos were alright. Surprisingly bland, even with salsa and harissa. Nitro cold brew was good though. Disappointed that the first 2 things I tried to order couldn't be made, since they were out of tortillas and avocado at 9 in the morning. Perhaps they weren't expecting a brunch crowd on Saturday. Also, it didn't help that the guy behind the counter laughed at us for ordering food they did not have. So the 2 stars are for the customer service.

Awesome place to do work. Their coffee always seems to increase my productivity. Very solid wifi. It has never been out and I'm here a lot. On Sundays there's a DJ playing easy listen tunes off vinyl. How cool is that.

I love the burgeoning Arts District area, and one of my favorite little coffee shops to hit up when trying to find a study spot for the day is Groundwork Coffee.

This location is one of my favorites of theirs, it's pretty spacious inside because it goes pretty far back and has nice comfy benches with cushions in the back of it. I also love the wood and brick aesthetics with the industrial ceiling. Very fitting for the feel of the Arts District, and I love it!

They have great coffees and hot chocolates to choose from here, and also some pretty good brunch items that you can order during the day!

The wifi is also really good, and the music not too loud, so it's a nice place to spend the day eating and studying or working on your laptop. That's what I'm doing right now, in fact!

One of my favorite spots in the downtown/Arts District area! I'll be back regularly!

The house matcha is amazing!!!! Wow!!!! It is also such a great vibe inside and outside! I imagine this would be a great place to get some work done, and drink some great coffee or tea while doing it. I recommend trying it if you can!

Great service. Had a fried egg sandwich for breakfast. It was delicious and tasted just right. Food is a little pricey but quality made up for it. Also ordered a chai with almond milk and it was spicy in the right ways until it got cold.

there are better coffees in this area. i came here because of the ratings. the capu was overheated. the cinamon roll and the almond croissant was not good.

Groundwork Coffee is THE suggested coffee in this part of LA. For a refreshing pick up, the Nitro cold brew is my suggest. Crisp, with a finish of famines, nutty and fruity. It's a much needed moment of cool off in the hot summer.
Love the interior space: industrial brick and cold, polished concrete in spacious arrangement.

This is a great coffee shop if you need to get some work done. There is a lot of seating downstairs and upstairs. However, it is popular so it does get pretty packed. There are only a few outlets so make sure your computer is charged just in case.
We usually try to come early (around 11 or 10:30) to get street parking . After that you might need to park a block away or pay for parking.
Also, their horchata cold brew is delicious! I usually get half regular cold brew with half horchata cold brew to tone down the sweetness. ☕️🍭
