Food has some great options . Enjoyed my salad. I will be back .

This place is delicious. Basic menu, no frills, no pretentious ingredients you can't pronounce, and a lovely cozy environment.
If you are looking for something exciting, this might not be the spot. It's your everyday FOOD, just executed extremely well.
I ordered the tofu scramble with eggs, it was mixed with potatoes and veggies. The potatoes were one of the best breakfast potatoes I've ever had! My girlfriend got the ricotta pancakes (yes, these are not basic - but this is as crazy as the menu gets). These pancakes were impeccable. So soft, fluffy, and dense like a real cake! The serving sizes are reasonable for the price $9-11, especially when the ingredients are of such a high caliber.
We got a side of bacon as well... and holy god.... some of the best bacon you will find at a breakfast place in West LA! Even cutely (albeit unnecessarily) garnished.
Our waitress was so lovely and we were checked on constantly, despite the restaurant being beyond busy. I will admit, this isn't my style of food, but I will be back!

I am still in shock of how rudely I was treated last week by the staff here. I called in an order for pickup, and arrived 30 minutes later to get my food.
They could not find my order, and the owner repeatedly questioned me and acted as if it was my fault that they couldn't find it. She brought out another employee to help me after having me wait 15 minutes. When he told me to come inside (not sure why this was necessary in the first place), I told him I was more comfortable speaking outside due to COVID. He, and the owner, audibly laughed at this right in front of me. He then told me very sarcastically that "the same people in there are the ones touching your food, but okay".
I am in awe of how disrespectful and judgmental the staff were. We are in a pandemic, how dare they laugh at me for not feeling comfortable coming inside and trying to keep myself and my family safe.
I waited another 10 minutes until the man found my order.
It is such a shame because they have great food, but I just cannot look past the rudeness and disrespect the staff showed me. I will not eat here again purely due to the attitudes of those working here.

Its just fresh, delicious food. The slow roasted beef tenderloin sandwich is FANTASTIC. But, I also enjoy choosing 2 or 3 of their salads for a combo plate. Good portions and a very friendly staff. Highly recommended!!!

Great little place for breakfast. Service was terrific. Tofu scramble was more of a ‘breakfast stir fry’ but I enjoyed it with a side of vegetarian sausage. I appreciate that they had oat milk for my cappuccino. Two two-person tables outside.

The food is expensive but it's just so gosh darn tasty. I love the deli salads as takeaway. I think it's so good because the ingredients are the highest quality.
The staff is also very friendly and there's no condescending attitude you find at other organic food places.
Totally worth checking out but I'd advise to try going on a weekday because it looks packed on the weekends.

Food is a neighborhood institution! We love it for breakfast, takeout for lunch, and brunch on the weekends (it gets busy!) My favorites are the ricotta pancakes, tenderloin sandwich, breakfast burritos and regularly find something amazing on the daily specials. Service and staff are consistently great.
If you're in the neighborhood and not visiting Food on a weekly basis, you're missing out.

Always such a friendly environment and amazing staff. The food is fantastic and fresh. I love the specials for breakfast or picking up a sandwich and some sides for a picnic when I’m on the go.

I gave it a chance but the owner THINKS she's a chef and treats her customers as if they should be grateful for her casseroles and lots of meat. Those comments about rude staff are true if you're not a regular who kisses her ego.

This is my favorite breakfast place. It is small so be prepared to wait if you come during the "main" breakfast time. The food is always fresh and wonderful and the owner is almost always on the premises making sure we are all enjoying ourselves. I love their menu and recommend it for people of all ages.
