Federal Coffee

Warning! Stopped by for a latte at 3:44 and was told they had shut down the espresso machine 15 minutes before closing which is 4:00 pm. I asked if they always do that or just today. He said yes always. Will not be back no matter what time of day it is.

The iced latte I got was quite good. Service leaves something to be desired as I had to ask for napkins three times because the employees were on their phones

Great place for dogs - I was able to pet 4! The "dining area" is outside only, so definitely wear a jacket if the weather is chilly.

As far as taste, we only got the cold brew. Black, it was excellent, although it might be a little bitter for some. With some cream, my partner said it smoothed out and complimented the flavor.

Great coffee not the best but very good. I would go there again for sure.

I really like this place and would give it 4 stars. Food and coffee are great. My issue is that the lid they have for Americanos (small drink size) does not fit the cup tightly. This is my second order, and it's the second time my drink has spilled all over my car. I transferred my drink to the next-size-up cup and the lid was snug. I will up my rating when the small lid issue is fixed.

I've changed my review to 3 stars. A 2-star rating was too harsh given that the coffee and service are great. I am sympathetic about the supply chain issues, but I can't give a higher rating until the loose lid issue is fully resolved. Too fundamental. No one wants their coffee to spill on their clothes and car.

Upped to 4 stars. Haven't had a problem with any lids, so I'm happily giving a 4-star review now.

Lovely modern cafe with a friendly staff. I appreciate that they have a short menu that they make very well, instead of a long menu executed poorly. They are a little pricey but coffee is becoming a luxury these days. They have fun specials and fancy pastries.
