Black Elephant Coffee (Atwater Village)

Good coffee and nice folks. While I appreciate their pursuit to be environmentally friendly, everyone in there is drinking from disposable cups, the aircon is blasting, with the open faced fridge filled with polystyrene plastic wrapped food. I appreciate well sources beans + wwf donations but if you're gonna base your brand on an eco friendly premise at least make an effort in the store to uphold the company values. Makes it feel like a gimmic. Talk is cheap. Just make sure you ask for ceramic and let them know.

Many matcha options. I tried the matcha mint and I've got to say I'm not a fan, but with that said the matcha itself was good. I think with mint for me it's a no bueno. I'm looking forward to enjoying a London Fog sitting outside because I hardly ever see that on a menu so I'm pleased. I'm also thrilled by their selection of gluten free baked goods. Looking forward to the gluten free spinach frittata....

This cafe is super cute. I got the rose latte and it was perfect. Not too sweet and they had rose petals on top.

Do yourself a favor and check this place out! The coolest shop (with a great cause) and the best coffee around by far only matched by their service, they will make you feel like you own the freaking place!!
Keep it up guys and thank YOU for bringing more life into Atwater.

Delicious London fog!!

First time visiting here and it was very good. The interior design is great. I live the use of wood throughout the location.

Mexican mocha was awesome. Service was good, everyone was super nice. The place is very bright. Lots of cozy seating. Quiet, good place to study.
