85°C Bakery Cafe - Downtown Los Angeles

Unique & popular "fresh bread" creations continually put out. Trays of some really popular items get emptied by eager downtown L.A. customers almost as fast as they get put out. (Fill a box & take it to the office or home for a special gathering.)

Lines can be extremely long, especially on Mondays when they have tall drinks for only $0.85! I'm a big fan of 85C so I come here whenever the cravings hit. Convenient for those who work/live DTLA.

Smaller than other branches because it is downtown but still has all the varieties you'd expect. Great place to grab coffee and a quick bite. Can be crowded during the morning rush.

Fresh baked goods 😋 and great choices of hot and cold drinks. The place is clean and well lit too.

"Fresh Bread!!!", is what I love to hear here everyday. I come in with my own coffee and they won't budge me because of it. Eventhough it's a small space, you can definitely have great service.

The Starbucks of Taiwan

One stop shop in the morning. Get your coffee fix, tea fix, sugar fix and even hot dog fix if that's your thing. For the price of one Starbucks pastry you can get three at 85c. For the price of one Starbucks drink you can get two at 85c. Brush up on your Taiwanese pop because with 17 locations now, they're here to stay.

Size Matters

I know you like big things. How you use it really only goes so far...until size does matter. If you've visited any other 85c Degree location you'll feel the expansive space so you can browse freely and even have enough space to twerk while your doing it. This location is an old Famima and during peak times in the day your corralled like cattle inside the tiny shop and the drink line goes out the front door even with 5 people in line.

This is a quality bakery as far as chain stores go. There's a broad and unique selection of baked goods. Most are sweet, but there are a few savory items as well.

Trash. Cheap flavor and ingredients. Paris baguette is way better.
