Story Coffee

The coffee and food were both very good! My only criticism would be the overall service. After reading reviews of how kind and friendly the staff was, I was very disappointed with what I encountered. The staff was not nearly as friendly to me as they were to the customers around me. I wanted to support a small business especially with it being the holidays l, however I was very disappointed. I did not feel welcomed at all here.

There are happily a lot of coffee choices in Livermore, each with it's own charms. Story Coffee offers wonderful smooth coffee, friendly, competent, staff and a clean, warm, modern atmosphere. The only downside is acoustics, hard surfaces make the noise level a little tough for conversation. Of course, their business is coffee, not conversation and the coffee is great. Good luck and I'll be back.

We got an iced mocha and a hot mocha and thought they were great. Had a raspberry pastry too that our little one quite enjoyed.

You know it’s an amazing coffee place, when you are walking to the cafe and the coffee aroma just pulls you in ! Ordered a regular cappuccino and loved it (strong brew with right amount of milk and foam). The pastries were finished by 2 pm, will try going earlier next time . If you are in the neighborhood, definitely recommended to get your coffee here

A waffle and cappuccino from Story is the best thing ever. Super friendly people - I've been enjoying their coffee since the farmers market days! Story is a coffee place that rivals my favorites in SF, without the snooty attitude!

Absolute gem of a coffee shop. My fiancé and I came grab some coffee and pastries on a warm Saturday morning on Livermore. I had a refreshing iced latte with honey (a modification from their honey latte that only comes hot). The made-to-order waffle was the BEST WAFFLE I’ve ever had. Most waffles require extra syrup or fruits to enhance the flavor - Story Coffee Co.’s waffle had all the flavor encompassed within the waffle. The texture was crispy on the outside and the perfect amount of doughiness on the inside. Also, the entire team looked like they enjoyed their work and their customers. 10/10 stars all around.

Great coffee. Latte drinkers heads up they don't carry flavored syrups just a simple beverage enhancer but it's fantastic! The honey tea latte (no coffee) is also delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff

Im so glad story coffee finally has their own space! Very good local coffee shop. Their service is so good, they were so friendly and talkative. Their sweet Latte was very good and their entire menu looked promising. The actual space is very modern and it feels like a great place to meet friends or study. They have nice merch. Next time I will try their matcha latte and some pastries!

Great Coffee and Very Friendly Staff. Clean and Simple Coffee Shop.

I'm not one to spend a lot of money on coffee, I usually just make it at home. But during the holidays I love having a few gingerbread lattes. Sadly the biggest coffee chain isn't offering them this year but today I discovered Story coffee and it puts other lattes to shame! The gingerbread latte was amazing! Definitely will be going back. It's super cute inside too.
