No cash accepted. I offered tips for the cost of coffee - the owner rejected. I ask free cup of coffee - the owner sent me to another coffee shop. They missed their blessings. I just went to another coffee shop and they don't accept cash either but I got my cup of coffee!!

Coffee is still fine, but the service has gone downhill. Don't bother ordering any food they have to prep, it takes forever and may or may not be correct, which is problematic when you're vegetarian. Go to Peet's down the street instead.

This local popular neighborhood coffeehouse has been here for almost 20 years serving downtown Livermore. Serves made-to-order hot and iced coffees and teas, espressos, breakfast sandwiches (all day), pastries and cookies. Extensive made-to-order Italian soda selection. Sells freshly roasted coffee beans too. Has an inexpensive used books for sale area in the back.
Baristas are friendly and they do coffee art with the foam. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Most times of the year Panama Bay leaves the big windows open, which gives you the best of both worlds. Lots of people watching. Con - there are flies, but they add to the cafe vibe. Free wifi. Dog friendly.
In the back, one unisex restroom for customers. No diaper changing table. The other unisex restroom is clearly marked for "employees only."

What happened to the place. Coffee used to be really good. Had the worst bitter coffee ever. And the crowd is gone. Usually the place is packed on a Sunday morning at 9am. Did they get new owners recently. ??

Currently only for to go or outdoor seating. They have some unique flavours. Especially their songbird coffee. Its a blend of light and dark coffee. Very unique.
