Best hangout on First Street. Part of a small chain of coffeehouses, but with the vibe of an independent. People working there are friendly and helpful. Decent selection of breakfast pastries, but not much else to eat. Sadly, the brewed coffee is just not that good - rough and thin. All in all, though, this is a great place to sit and read the Sunday paper.

A haven for those allergic to gluten: they carry a selection of gluten free pastries, muffins, cookies etc for a fair price. Let me tell you how much I've missed those kinds of treats and how hard they are to find baked fresh. Coffee is good of course, but I go there just for the GF goodies sometimes. Bless your guyses' hearts.

I get coffee at Panama Bay at least 4 times a week. All the employees are great and the owner has a big heart. He allows us as a community to paint rocks there throughout the week and he is hosting an Easter Egg hunt and rock painting event this Saturday April 13th. The coffee is my favorite in town too.

This place has been my go to for great espresso for the last 200 years. The people have always been authentic and real community folk, and I consider Panama Red a true place that makes me feel like I'm in my home town. 1 LOVE

Panama is SO inconsistent right now! My order today was wrong in any way it could have been. Same last week, a latte without any foam! They used to draw leaves! Seems as if the constantly new employees aren’t trained well.

It would be better if they could master the art of choosing coffee cups that do not leak from the lid, all over my suit.

Plus 3 stars for the quick response and offer to make things right. Just fix the cups :)

Great staff! I come here every morning to get a drink for my commute. I like bringing my kids here on the weekends. The teas are amazing, great for a cold day. Come in and try em out.

The family atmosphere and great vibe were all i needed to rate the most awesome coffee shop on the planet. The coffee is miles better than peets and starbucks. The staff is courteous and strives to make your experience the best everyday all the time.
