Quaint little place, but bad customer service. I have been here a couple times and was very unimpressed both times. The first time was about 8 months ago for lunch. The food tasted ok but made both me and my coworkers sick. The cashier really didn’t seem to want to be there and we were uncomfortable. The second time was today when we were passing by and needed air in our tire. They wouldn’t let us get air without paying cash or getting gas. I understand it is a business, but what happened to good customer service? This made me not want to support the business anymore. I will wait a few more minutes to get to Lancaster for better gas prices and better customer service. The cashier said it is because they have had to replace parts of the hose and fittings. Solution; keep the air hose inside and have a sign that says “For air, ask attendant inside”. That will mostly eliminate any vandalism. It just makes good business sense to help people who need help. A little bit of electricity and wear on your compressor is a small price to pay.

Coffee and turkey sandwiches are awesome.

11-13-18 Another fine Burger and side salad. Thank you Neenachians.

10-23-18 Pizza... At 0930 in the morning 👍👍. Thank you Neenach Market. Only place I know of you can get pizza in the morning.

(I remind the reader that the hamburgers are hand patted patties. 👍👍👍)

9.5.18 Today a double burger (no cheese) with everything. Photo enclosed. Yum.

8.18.18 OMG. I'm telling you now, this place makes the best burgers. Today I got a hamburger with everything (no cheese) Soo good and A BLT. The BLT is on a really good bread (toasted) look at the photo, the bread the patty beautiful tomato and onion. Thank you to the Neenach store crew. 👍👍

Second visit...
I ordered a hamburger (no cheese), and fries.
The burger was excellent, a chubby patty cooked like home. Leaf lettuce generous tomato and onion slices. Grilled bun. The fries are really good, they are kind of gourmet without being pretentious. Lol.
Nice and cool inside the store. Lots of groceries at good prices. Kirkland brands too.

First time there. ..
Home cooked food. Nice market.
Lots of glass bottled soda. Ice cream. Sandwiches and a café.

Neenach Cafe & Market is situated in the land of poppies, at least once a year, and solar farms the rest of the time. But that's alright. We live up in the High Desert, where the sun shines all the time. Stop by this awesome place on your drive on Hwy 138 between the I-5 and the AV Fwy(14 Fwy).
Besides a well-stocked market, they provide gasoline and propane(5 gallon), which is great for the weary travelers. They also have a cafe. Stop in and say hello!

The Neenach Cafe is literally the only stop for miles in any direction on Hwy 138 between I-5 and Palmdale. I stopped in on a windy freezing night. I would have to call it an eclectic place, part gas station, part market, part coffee house and part cafe. The store owner and the cook were really nice and there was a great selection of items on their menu including lattes, breakfast burritos, philly steak sandwiches and more. The made to order breakfast plate I picked was huge if a little bland. It was dark out but their patio area looked like a comfortable option in different weather.

Have to admit the street tacos were pretty good. A little on the salty side but I still enjoyed them. Will come again to see how it is next time. Friendly staff.

Cute little place with all kinds of odd and delicious snacks.

Only place for Miles to get gas on this desert road and they take full advantage of that by charging gas prices that are $2 more per gallon than any populated place.

They have a variety of things in the store, and they have basic philipino food.

A pleasant surprise to find! Very friendly service, tasty sandwiches, cold drinks - perfect stop between big towns. Nice to have a chance to give a mom & pop shop business instead of the overpriced chain locations in the busy surrounding towns. This is a perfect spot to stop traveling between Lebec & Barstow to give the engine & pups a break.
