Stopped and grabbed a cup of coffee on a road-trip between Tahoe and the bay. Shop attendant (owner?) was super cool. Chopped it up and shared stories of travels. He gave us free cookies. Good vibes!
Was happy to see a new cafe stop on Highway 50 up to lake tahoe. Definitely worth the stop. Had a cinnamon mocha and quiche. Both were delicious and surprisingly cheap. Great historic and rustic decor.
Awful place! Bad service. I came with 5 friends in our way to Tahoe, 4 of them bought a coffee and I didn’t because I was sick. I used the bathroom and when I was leaving the bar tender call me out saying why I didn’t consumed but used the bathroom. I will never come back for sure, how rude!
Have been waiting for the Kyburz Lodge to open for years, use to come here many years ago. The Lodge is not open yet but the Cafe is and Scott serves great coffee and pastry’s. There was a constant stream of people coming in on there way to Tahoe or on there way home. Looking forward to his desk and BBQ plans.
My Azteca hot chocolate was delicious and, while I didn’t get anything to eat, everything looked tasty. I’m excited to return and see what is new in the space set aside for local artists.
Went in for snack and washroom guy started walking toward me with a smile on, once, he got close, and saw my face and his demeanor changed, and he asked me to leave the store and aggressively led me out ,saying bathroom is for costumer!! I tried to explain that i was there to also shop!! And he was very close and creepy so i left!! He stated following me to the car and stared at us while we left, my wife and kids were terrified , this was whole thing was just creepy and i dont know if i was my face that changed his demeanor or my skin.
Really cool place, still getting up and running but already has great coffee/tea drinks and a decent selection of food. Look forward to coming back to see what they do with the place. Worth a visit!
Location super, ottimo caffè e muffin e proprietario super accogliente e disponibile!! Veramente un posto dove fermarsi ogni volta che si scende da Lake Tahoe verso Sacramento.
