Eon Coffee

Great service. Locally owned/operated. Quality ingredients used in drinks and food. Fresh Udon noodle soup served most weekends. Nice place to meet for coffee or smoothee.

Not really sure why I'm drawn to this place. Pretty nice cafe in Hayward with a good variety of drinks, easy parking, and plenty of seating. It's right by the Chabot College so there's usually a fair amount of people hanging out or doing work. They also serve ramen on Sundays and sell a good variety of packaged foods or baked goods. I usually get their iced dutch coffee but their iced mochas are pretty good too. The drinks are not overly sweet and they are happy to accommodate to your taste. Their Iced Dutch Coffee really gets me quite jittery and feeling buzzed on caffeine.

I feel like good cafes are hard to find. When the closest coffee shop by your work is a Starbucks you really start to appreciate Eon and other small, local shops.

Ramen on Saturdays from 11:30 to 1?!?!?!!?!

I don't understand some of the low reviews here. This place has amazing food and the drinks are made in good standard.

I've been going here for about 3 years now and I can say that this place is the reason why I have kept my grades up. haha. The WIFI is free and super fast. It never lags and when they have to restart it, they tell everyone before they do. The food is pretty good and very healthy. They offer the cold drip coffee which most coffee shops don't. They're lattes are amazing! it comes with complimentary cracker and usually designed by a skilled barista. Green noodles with the option of what dressing is so good!!

I would suggest:
1.) Green noodles! with thai nut dressing
2.) SALAD!
3.) Green Tea Latte!!!
4.) espresso.. tiny but STRONG!
5.) SATURDAY RAMEN! come early. line gets long!

I don't like their wraps because they're soggy but everything else is delicious!!

OH and the hot sandwiches are BOMB DOT COM!

My favorite coffee shop. Coffee taste is amazing. Absolutely wonderful atmosfere and personal. You feel like you are visiting your best friends. Thank you for great job!

Frozen breakfast sandwiches, no mayo or mustard for sandwiches? Friendly people, nice atmosphere. If they leveled up on breakfast food quality would help a lot.

Small cafe with good drinks and sandwiches. Plenty of tables and chairs close to outlets. WiFi is reliable. A good place to spend a couple of hours socializing or getting worked done.

Every espresso-based drink I've gotten here has been over extracted. I noticed they have Oji equipment for dutch coffee. The barista had almost no knowledge about it. Didn't know their coffee to water ratio, so I wasn't able to tell how strong it was and if it was worth ordering.
Barista didnt have any knowledge on their espresso beans either.
My friend likes their tea.
I haven't tried their food.
Coffee wise, If they weren't accross the street from my college I would never go back.

This is my go to place for coffee. Employees are always friendly and their products are always fresh. Their coffee is always hot and tastes good! An added bonus for going to Eon is you're supporting a small business!
