Wonderful local coffee shop with light breakfast fare.
Friendly and skillful baristas serve own-brand single origin and blended coffees, both brewed in house and beans for brewing at home (I believe they can grind them for you if desired but I buy whole bean, which I recommend for freshness if you have a grinder at home).
At time of review, the shop is open for customers to order inside but sitting down to drink beverages and eat food is not available. Hopefully it will be safe to allow that again soon, as its modern but unpretentious decor is welcoming.

I liked the place. the people working there were nice, place is small and cozy, good coffee, good to give it a try.

I think I'm generally getting some coffee from here at least twice a week. If it wasn't a little far from both my job and home I'd probably be there everyday. Stop drinking starbucks and try your local coffee shops! They never disappoint same quality everytime 1000/100.

Great tasting beverages. High quality items and a hidden gem in the valley. They're always consistent and I've never had a bad beverage. This is my new favorite local spot for coffee and acai cups!

I'd 10 star if I could. I'm addicted to the 1/2 Sweet Iced Lavender Oat Milk Latte. It's a dreamy drink. Buy it, turn on some classical music, roll ur windows down, and enjoy the beautiful socal breeze and scenery. Trust!

I loveeeeeee Houseroots. Has been my favorite coffee shop since it opened. Nicest baristas like Carmen and Leo. A must if you're in the area! If you love coffee you must travel and visit 10/10

My niece, Destinee, took me here today and all I can say is Wow. With tasty yummy drinks and Cool vibes, the fresh roast smell feels like home.

I go out of my way to support local coffee shops when I travel. So when they said they were open until 6 pm and I arrived at 5 pm and ordered a cappuccino they tell me the bathroom has been cleaned and they were unwilling to let me use it for fear I would “mess it up.”
They also suggested Taco Bell and then in a snarky way commented they were not a Starbucks.
My thought is “you might as well be a Starbucks if you won’t let customers use your bathroom because you’re too lazy or worried about someone using it an hour before closing.
I hope the manager reads and can do something to change it.
I was here on a Sunday afternoon at 5 pm.
Coffee was great but everything else about it was so disappointing-especially as I went ten minutes out of my way to support local.
