Status and performance has been restored. See the nice pics
Below is my review from 7 months ago and this is simply a positive update declaring that my grievance has emotionally expired and been replaced with happiness.
5 stars was always the rating.
I get that life is a grind, but today i left without drinking my coffee (pour-over) that i paid for. This just made it more difficult to grind the rest of my daily life i had left this Friday.
I didn't expect to sit at the table while my coffee sat in the pour-over contraption forgotten. When it was made apparent that i had been forgotten, instead of even checking if my coffee had gotten cold it was quickly poured into a paper to-go-cup although i ordered it "for here". I had hoped to sit and enjoy my cups of coffee in a ceramic cup as it should be.
I returned the paper cup full of untouched coffee. When i said that I didn't want it, no-one asked why, offered a refund or a correction.
The thing that really grinds me is that I regularly tip 20%. This lack of service was not prompt nor correct.
I am owed a large pour-over that i can drink from a civilized ceramic cup. Until atonement had been made, tips will be reduced to 1%

If you're in the Galt area and looking for a cozy coffee shop with amazing food and drinks, you have to check out Life's A Grind Coffee House. The manager, Gurdeep, is a true gem and he goes out of his way to make sure every guest feels welcome and taken care of.
I recently had breakfast here and I have to say, the bagel sandwiches are out of this world! The ingredients are fresh and the flavors are delicious. But what really impressed me were the fresh juices - not only were they incredibly tasty, but they were also packed with healthy nutrients!
The service at Life's A Grind Coffee House is top-notch. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. It's clear that they take pride in their work and truly care about their guests.
I love supporting local small businesses, and Life's A Grind Coffee House is definitely one that deserves your support. So next time you're in the area, be sure to stop by for a delicious meal and some refreshing drinks. You won't regret it!

I love Life's Grind, but i have to say that Mail Tom seems to have a legitimate ax to grind as he would probably say. I love his play on words. I am really glad that he was constructive and didn't trash my favorite coffee house with a 1 star that so many do.

Went here the other day and got the breakfast wrap and it is honestly the worst $7 I have ever spent.
It was so bad. I can only describe it as half an egg wrapped in a small tortilla, bit of cheese, almost no sausage (which looked undercooked). Better buy a burrito at a gas station.
The drinks I’ve tried are good though.

It was a slow afternoon, a couple other small groups had already been served. I ordered a latté and a bite. 2 other people had to get their orders fixed (one hot drink was served cold, didn’t hear the other complaint). The two stoners behind the counter totally forgot to make my drink. Product was adequate.
I won’t go back.

"This coffee shop is a hidden gem in the city. The coffee is exceptional and the atmosphere is quaint and cozy. The baristas are friendly and knowledgeable, and they take the time to make sure you have a great experience. The shop has a great selection of pastries, sandwiches, and other snacks, and everything is made fresh daily. The seating is comfortable, and the free wifi makes it a great place to work or study. I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a relaxing atmosphere."
