This location is near the bus top which makes it nice on cold mornings. I have just started going there so I need to go a few more times. They have very interesting varieties of coffee and tea. Great food offerings. The customer service and the music are great as well.

Went here for the second time wasn't sure how the ordering process went, but Nancy helped me and my friends a lot! She took some time with us to suggest us roasts she thought we would like and taught us the lingo. She was so kind and helpful and made the experience wonderful. (:

The staff at this Philz Coffee are excellent. When I asked to sample an iced coffee, my barista made me one small cup and told me it was on the house, no problem. That was very gracious of her, and that kind of service will keep me coming back to this coffee shop.
A few other notes:
The coffee here is more expensive than some of the drinks at the Starbucks across the street, yet each drink here is made pour-over.
One complaint I have about this store is it's sluggish wifi network. I was not able to stream music over YouTube or easily download files over the internet.
I like the store's many glass windows and open interior. There are many different sitting areas, including a large table suitable for laptop computer, many taller tables with stools, benches, and a little couch corner. I wish the chairs along the large tabe were more comfortable. Their backings hurt, well, my back and cause me to slouch forward.
Overall, this is a nice coffee house, and I will definitely come back.

I love their coffee. They make it, let you try it, and if you don't like it, they do it again. I also bought a bag of coffee there called Aromatic Arabic and it's so good. It's 18$/ bag.

Their coffee is the best picker upper needed around town! Can get busy so definitely set aside time before getting here. Highly recommended.

Before coming to this location, I've only ever had Philz brought to me by friends/family...so now I finally get the whole "one cup at a time" thing! They LITERALLY make one* cup of coffee at a time (*one person makes your coffee, but there is typically more than one person making coffee)
Coffee:
- Plethora of choices! Their menu is nicely divided into dark, medium, light roasts, 3 iced drinks, and teas.
- They make it incredibly easy to make your drink. You pick one, pick a sweetness level, and bam. Go pay, go wait, and go enjoy.
- No espresso here! My first thought: "that's wild". BUT it works, in my opinion. Every cup is made as a pour-over and it works and so why change it up? Also, I would assume it helps save them money? Espresso machines are expensive - to purchase and maintain.
Food:
Looks good, but I didn't try anything. I did witness someone bite their bagel and exclaim "wow this is good" - that was my extent of their food.
Inside:
- Nice environment! It's rather bright (white walls, wide windows, etc), but they make it as relaxing as possible. They got high tables, couches, solo tables, etc.
- Good place for people to get some laptop work done as there are plenty of outlets - also they have free Wi-Fi.
MY RECOMMENDATION:
New Manhattan! It's a lighter roast so expect more caffeine. Flavor how you'd like BUT I found going medium on sweetness and creamer is magical - aka, Philz Way. That's just me though. ALSO...I like mine iced.

I absolutely love, love, love Philz Coffee. My favorites are the Turkish Delight (dark blend with cardamom & mint), Philz Harminic (medium blend with cardamom & mint), and the iced Mint Mojito (with-you guessed it, lots of delicious mint!). I always order mine "sweet & creamy." Best coffee around, in my book :-) Enjoy!

Great place for anyone looking to have a great cup of coffee! Great place to sit, and the employees are kind and happy to talk about your coffee!
As a pour-over enthusiast, Philz' coffee brewing method doesn't produce my favorite kind of cup. It's between what a French press would make and what you get from a Clever-dripper/Full-immersion method. But, that being said, their coffee is much like the best drip coffee you will ever get, and you can taste the flavors and complexity of the coffee!
In short, if you just like your morning cup of coffee, nothing fancy, come to Philz! It will be better than any other coffee you can get from a drip machine. Panera should say goodbye to their drip coffee customers :D

I would give this place a 5 out of 5 but have to ding it for its weak iced coffees. (Weak both in their watered down flavor and in overall options.) However, the hot drinks are top notch, not to mention fresh and innovative. The baristas are all fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. Generally a fun place to go get caffeinated.

One of the best coffee chains I been to. It's technically a chain but doesnt have that corporate souless feel. When I went my 1st time, Barrista was helpful and they will make changes to your order if you request, insure you're satisfied. I also take a bag to go for home coffee their house stuff is just as good.
