Mendocino Cookie Co & Zappa's Coffee

I rate starbucks fairly high on my list of good coffee. I dare to say I prefer this little establishment over starbucks. I got the white chocolate mocha and a chocolate chip cookie. Both were amazing. So sad I won't be able to come here more often but anytime I'm in the area I will be coming here for all my coffee and cookie needs.

They don’t speak Starbucks, and that’s five stars in my book! Awesome coffee and killer selection of cookies! Shop local…..drink local. It’s worth it.

Stop by early morning to get fresh (still warm) cookies. Trekker, ginger and chocolate walnut were all excellent.

The owner of this place was so rude to my mom, my sister, and I. Even though we bought drinks and cookies she was utterly disrespectful to paying customers. I would NOT recommend coming here! also my hot chocolate was mediocre, same with the cookies i’ve been baking with my mom forever and we could have made better cookies easily. I wouldn’t even give it a 1 star but i can’t put 0.

Make sure you come by and see this place!!!! The coffee is amazing, and the people are even better!!! This cozy town is absolutely complimented by the excellent atmosphere and quality of the baked goods they make here as well. Make sure to stop by and grab a cup of coffee and some baked items. You can't come to Fort Bragg without stopping by!!!! Thank you for the amazing coffee!

Fresh baked variety of delicious cookies and buns, bear claws, etc. All the coffee options usually found in popular coffee bars. Take out window at front of building, inside seating and small tables inside atrium of vintage Fort Bragg building. Other small shops also in atrium area.

Not just cookies! :) Most amazing cream cheese croissant ever! Yummy smoothies, and lots of other homemade muffins, bagels, and treats. Great staff and I love that there is a walk up window or you can go inside to order. Perfect spot to get a snack while waiting for the Skunk Train

Coffee is here is good. They bake their own pastries and cookies. I like the jalapeno cheddar scones. There is charging if you need it. The staff is friendly. You can order from the sidewalk. If you go inside there some shops worth visiting and also an interesting looking culinary thing going on upstairs. The coffee is from Peerless! Featuring a Peruvian bean and Balthazar (CDC APPROVED). Tell garrison the VHS rental place also does soft serves.

Cookies were outstanding! My wife did say that her latte wasn't the best, she said coffee quality was excellent but latte just wasn't made very well

Cool building and lots to see. Good coffee and lots of breakfast food options in pastry form. Very nice people and great service.
