Mendocino Cookie Co & Zappa's Coffee

Absolutely amazing. Wendy greeted us with a warm welcome. Then when we couldn’t decide on a cookie to split she treated us to one on the house to indulge individually instead of having to share. Absolutely amazing! Must try the chocolate chip walnut cookies.

Delicious coffee, Italian sodas and cookies. Staff is friendly, helpful and you will not be disappointed. They have a walk up window to order or you can go inside. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

I was so happy to see this place open. I've wanted to come here for years and finally got the chance. The coffee was local and super tasty. The mocha was heavenly almost silky on your tongue. The blueberry scones were so dreamy. I want to go back right now. Can I? It's the northcoasts best kept secret.

Can't say anything about the coffee. But the cookies. Oh. My. God. The cookies!! Thick, chewy and a little crisp around the edge.. Great variety--choc chip, peanut butter, chocolate choc chip and ginger. Also random flavors like one with oatmeal, coconut, nuts and chocolate chips. If they have that one GET IT! Or three. Seriously. You're gonna want more than one. Just sayin.... :)

Nice coffee shop. We went to the window and ordered coffee. They made it swiftly and it tastes great.

I went here for a cookie and a cup of decaf coffee. The staff was great, and they use the brand of almond milk that I like. I thought the cookies were yummy too— I got a PB cookie and a double chocolate. I wouldn’t get coffee here again though. It was pretty burnt/ bitter tasting, and not very fresh. It would be better if they had a lighter roast instead and brewed a fresh batch every 30-60 minutes.

I'd normally give this place a 5 star. The staff has always been friendly. The cookies and muffins are always really good. They'll even add a little extra chocolate to your hot chocolate if you ask. The one thing that disappointed this trip was that despite going first thing, they hadn't made a lot of items for the entire day and the selection was very limited.

Perfect coffee and fresh baked pastries every time! I purchased a large latte and a gluten free peanut butter cookie, $6. The next day, small cappuccino, ginger spice cookie, and a huge pumpkin walnut muffin, $8. They even sanitize your credit card before returning it to you. Shall I say any more?
