Honestly, the food was extremely disappointing. My friend got fish tacos and beer flight. She liked the beer fight but felt that tacos were okay. I got their "famous" hot brown sandwich, but there was nothing famous about it. The meat was dry. Their hickory smoked bacon had no flavor. Took 2 bites, and then I had to leave the rest.

We drove to Eureka from Oregon specifically to visit Lost Coast, and it was the best decision we ever made. Their Tangerine wheat is delicious, and the food was amazing (best bbq pork I've EVER had). The staff takes obvious pride in the business, absolutely can't recommend enough.

Lost Coast’s Tangerine Wheat is a top 3 seller at the Gastropub I work at in Florida, so it was an absolute must stop while driving up the Cali-Oregon coast!

Cassie was our bartender and she was such a pleasure to chat with. She gave us the scoop on the area and was very personable with us when she could be. I also chatted with the manager: Marcus and he is a man with a plan!

Delicious beer, cool souvenirs and a great work staff!

Our experience was terrible at this restaurant. After following the directions to see a hostess to be seated and putting our names down we were accosted by the manager for “being in the way.” He told us we should have sat in the lounge. As you can see in the pictures this A) no place to sit and B) no way to know the lounge is open seating. Eventually when we asked our status for a table we were told they were not in a hurry to seat us. Even after we ordered drinks and appetizers. When a communication professional and multiple service industry professionals could not tell where we could or could not stand or sit there is a problem.

Crispy Cod Sandwich was crispy, light, and moist! The Clam Chowder was absolutely excellent, lots of clams and not packed with potatoes/fillers like most. definitely one of the top 2 Clam Chowders in Humboldt County. Also, try the Spinach Artichoke Dip! It's to die for! If you don't want full entrees, just go for the dip and a couple of beers - yummy!

Nice little place with great beer. The calamari and clam chowder were pretty good but the rueben had so much fat it was disgusting and made turnd her stomach after biting into it. As you can guess momma wasn't happy so no one was.

Walked up and was sat at the bar with my wife. While we were waiting, we watched the bartender host an 8 minute meeting with her coworkers while eating a sandwich, all behind the bar. Took her 8 minutes to even acknowledge our presence. All this time I was watching them stack glass ware in the bar well. If y'all have ever worked in a bar you will know this is a huuuuuuge safety issue. Not only this, they are chilling the glassware with ice out of these disgusting looking buckets. As a person with 15 years experience behind the bar, I saw nothing but red flags the moment I sat down. Great beer, what a horrible operation they have at their cafe.

I challenge you to do better Lost Coast. Your beer deserves more than your service provides.

Let's see if you have the guts to address the issues I just called you out on, or if you only say "Thank you" to the easy 5 star reviews (which I am completely "Lost" on how you got them)

Lost Coast Brewery is one of the gems in our area. A favorite weekend lunch date spot for us. Humboldt is a quirky funky area full of interesting folks, and loads of artists. Lost Coast Brewery really hits the vibe of this community and is always a fun spot. The artwork for their beers alone are super awesome.
I love their Famous Hot Brown Sandwhich with one of their Fogcutter Double IPA's, that is my favorite of theirs. My wife got the fish and chips, which is always super good as well.
They also sell beer in growlers to go, which is great because they have so many great ones to try.

Went for an early dinner, food was great, reasonably priced with a great vibe. Large portions and service was good....beer batter foods were great.

The fish and chips are pretty good and so is the beer! Fun atmosphere and the staff was really nice. The location is good it’s within walking distance of a lot of things in Eureka.
