Staff is super sweet, and this beauty of a latte is divine. I ordered the turmeric and ginger latte with macadamia nut milk sweetened with a touch of honey and enjoyed every sip! The downtown Escondido area has so much charm and character. This has been my go-to place to work and write, as the atmosphere is really ideal for both. The drink was beautiful.

Delicious caramel vanilla iced latte. Great space to meet up with a friend. Parking on the street in front was very easy. Staff was super friendly.

Ordered a iced hibiscus lemonade based on the barista’s suggestion and it was prefect. Light and refreshing and not too sweet. The barista was so nice and welcoming. It was a great place to sit and work with a view.

Best coffee on Grand Ave in Escondido! There are 3 places on Grand Ave that I can get a Lavender Latte but Manzanita’s is the most flavorful with the best price. Their Baristas also so creative with their designs, it makes you smile when they hand you your order!

I normally go to Starbucks for coffee and espresso, but I had heard about this place and wanted to try it- and since it was close to where I was working I decided to stop by. I paid $3 for a small coffee and it was terrible. I believe the Barista called it El Gaucho (which it was). I added plenty of cream and sugar but it was still very bitter and I was unable to drink much of it. It taste like burnt cocoa bean and black licorice fused into the coffee. I like coffee a lot.I drink it everyday. I grind my own beans at home every day, before I brew. I know a little bit about coffee. If you're going to have drip for the general public it should be well-rounded so that anybody can drink it, not just a connoisseur... I gave two stars because everything else about the place seems nice. I really liked the lid on the coffee cup; everyone should use them.

Really cool location inside the lobby of the Grand Theater. Friendly staff, delicious cappuccino! Next time I'm in town, I would love to come back and try the breakfast!

I love the atmosphere here at Manzanita's! We ordered the cappuccinos. They were delicious!

$6 for a baked good seems steep but happy to support a vegan option. This coffee shop is attached to a church. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
