Rescate Coffee

Great honey bear latte. Just a touch of sweetness. The staff helped me choose as coffee is a new hobby for me. About the same prices as Dutch Brothers or Starbucks but better quality.

Ok this is a new review and no need to read the last because i was cranky. They now have chocolate muffins every day and my husband even tried the other muffins and discovered he likes them better (i was mad in the last review that they never had chocolate muffins) we started coming here again when we gave up gluten because we like the coffee and it didn’t matter about the muffins anymore. We do come here when we are being lazy and don’t want to make our own. I have resorted to drinking drip coffee. I have stopped ordering mochas in cafe’s because they charge almost a dollar extra for oat milk. Making my coffee, depending on size, 6 to 8 dollars for a grande after getting oat milk and caramel. So we now make specialty drinks at home. This coffee is good though and I do really like the staff and owners. So,I came on here to give them the rating on the coffee and nothing else because they deserve as much. Minus one star for charging so much for oat milk.

Loved the atmosphere and quietness of the location. My cappuccino was delicious and the blueberry muffin was good but I requested warm and it was cold. Customer service was good. But the place needs to tidy up a bite. Crumbs all over the floors and chairs and the table is dirty. Needs to wipe down after each customer used.

I would come here often in the past as it was near where I lived. Recently came by after a long time and was met by extremely rude behavior from the owner. There seemed to be a new person working at the register who was so kind and patient and suggested I try a new drink. At the end of the encounter I can hear the owner being condescending to the new person publicly and basically telling him he should have upcharged me. I didn't want someone, who was obviously new, to be ridiculed when he was doing a wonderful job. I offered to pay whatever the difference was as it was in no way appropriate to treat worker in that way. I am disappointed as this was a much friendlier environment in the past.

A cozy coffee shop with nice outdoor setting. If you are into woody decor and vintage touch, this place is for you . I ordered coffee and I liked the taste. They don’t have too much selection on coffee but I liked the one I got. It might not be that easy to find a port for your laptop, especially if it is busy. I thought, the staff is friendly and welcoming at first, but I felt uncomfortable when the barista come to me a lower my voice when I was in interview via Skype. I understand, the need for the notice, but it should be done by writing me the issue on a paper and slide it for me to see it. Interrupting people on call is rude and unprofessional.

Great local coffee shop. Owners come in and work themselves. The two employees were more than patient as we made our decision (I changed my mind about three times). Their lemonade is homemade which is always a huge win in my opinion. Great flavor, not too sweet, not too sour.

I really enjoy this coffee. Lattes and cappuccinos are absolutely delicious. It's always a bit of a wait to get your drink here, I just assume that is because the baristas pay attention to each drink.

I love having new experiences. I went to Good Friday service to substitute for Sunday Easter service....Said to my guy ( Starbucks fan) let’s go try this place Easter Sunday. Now I’m not a huge coffee fan, other than let me French press a cup or 2 when I want it. I’m so glad I suggested this... the joint had a steady pace of clients, but felt so relaxed.. We talked to a young couple who shared our “space” , who are regulars, they said keep coming until you find what you really like. My guy who is always super wired and doesn’t need coffee, made the comment it’s “so relaxed” compared to his other place.. My specialty coffee was sweeter than I had hoped. The spinach feta croissant with added egg and bacon , perfectly simple and filling. I think if it was closer to home my guy would dump the other place. Will definitely go back!

Great coffee. ❤️✨ My new favorite place when in Elk Grove. We got the Horchata Ice latte and the Frappe Mocha.

My go-to daily coffee place. Love this place! Great coffee, friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere. The real deal.
So glad to dump Starbucks.
Only thing is wish they turned on lovely gas fireplace in seating area on cold days.
