Peet's Coffee

Super clean with friendly staff. The drinks are delicious! Iced tea tastes like tea instead of water, and the coffee doesn't taste like cigarettes. Never going back to Coffee Bean or Starbucks if I can help it.

This Peet's is located in the new El Segundo center: The Point. It's a beautiful retail center with restaurants that ALL seem delicious based on their menus, and it has an awesome courtyard area with green lawns and patio seating. The hype around this Peet's more so has to do with the area around it but the coffee shop itself is very cute. It has a quaint vibe with a decent amount of seating. Drinks and pastries are always pretty good (a step up in quality from Starbucks or coffee bean). The only downside, which reduced its stars is that the wifi is slow, so it makes it hard to keep a steady online work flow.

So disappointed I was excited to try peet's coffee for the first time because of all the great reviews. I went in for a small drip and had the worst customer service by a cashier named Amber. I'm sure everyone's experience is different, but it is not okay for the cashier to rush the the customer to move just because there are two people in line. Needless to say i do not plan on returning.

3.5 stars. Would have been a 4 except for the funky ass smell that greeted us upon walking in. Also the ambience isn't the greatest for studying.

Good place to just grab a drink before or after dinner at the Point or during a break from shopping. My matcha latte was well made and the drink price points aren't too bad. Slightly cheaper than Starbuck's and they don't seem to make the drinks as syrupy sweet.

First time visitor. Plenty of parking. Line moved quickly. Coffee and pastry were fresh . Employees friendly. Worth a second trip. 👍

This place is in a good location and most weekends the staff are great. However, yesterday the cashier -Nayo- charged me extra for a blueberry with the oatmeal which I know is included in the price of the oatmeal. When I mentioned it to her she took it off the bill. Maybe it was an honest mistake but just in case it was not I wanted Peet's management and the customers to know. I have noticed seen these 'honest' mistakes have been happening a lot more lately, at other businesses as well.

Can we please replace the starbucks on every corner with Peet's?!!! Its like fine dinning, you good with the Cheese Cake Factory or CPK until you start eating real food. Your tastes change and you can never enjoy again. I'm not sure why the coffee is so much better it just is.

I come here often and have noticed that it is unreasonably cold in the dining area. If the workers are that hot, management needs to check on the refrigeration units to make sure they are working properly. Otherwise, the Americano is well made. The warm bites are all chicken-focused, so that's a bummer. The Wi-Fi has greatly improved. It's one of the few places you can order a French press of any coffee for sale by the pound, so do it!

Excellent lattes!!! Love coming here for my coffee after I finish my yoga.

This place opens at 5am which is awesome since I start work early on the weekdays. Their coffee is nice and smooth, whereas I find Starbucks to have a somewhat burnt taste to it.
