Awesome food, great service. Chicken fried steak was great.

Food was good, atmosphere was fine. But the service was among the worst I've ever received. No common courtesy's given here like please, thank you, nor your welcome's. Not even busy either just no manners here. Also cost me $3.50 for a small glass of regular ice tea that was 75% ice, no free refills. Won't be coming back.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Their breakfast is unbeatable. Make sure to leave room for their homemade pecan pie . It’s best pecan pie you’ll ever have.

Wow! This place was amazing! The customer service was great, the country/small town atmosphere was really cool and the food was delicious! I've am so glad I tried the Red Rooster Cafe out. I will definitely be back soon. I had the double bacon cheeseburger and beer batter onion rings. The onion rings were so fresh and had the perfect crunch. The double bacon cheeseburger was massive, just the way I like it. The bacon and beef were high quality and soooo tasty!

Great place for a homemade-type breakfast, without having to cook it yourself.
The service is excellent and the food, tasty.

I was greeted from the friendly staff while walking through the door. It is a small cafe but refreshing none the less. The counter seating was a perfect spot to sit at traveling by myself from city to city so, if a place to eat and rest has one, I am more likely to use it. Thank you for the counter seat.
I had the Grilled Cheese and Fries meal which seemed to be the least expensive. While getting into town nearing Lunchtime, my worksite was nearby and made it in town earlier in order to have the mandatory Break according to California Labor Law. I walk from across the street, I see an Mexican Restaurant on the opposite corner and next door. But getting closer to it I see a sign that looked interesting and decided to take a closer look.
I then read the Red Rooster Cafe sign, "Early to Rise Ready to Serve" and that by itself, hooked me. Thank you. The price points for the majority of the meals and items are not all too different from other Cafe's, Diners Drive In's & Dives in California. Checking out the menu, I see Chili.... which by all means and at every opportunity measure how a place is based on their Chili. So it was love at first bite as I savored the flavor of the seasonings and spices of what I have seen are both Red and Green type of chili peppers. The Chili Beans was a well blended concoction of seasons and Chili heat which allowed for maximize taste buds reaction to that chili that will rival Chili Competitors at the Monterey Chili Cook Festival Cook Off!!!! The BOMB!!!!!
Another big factor that I rate the Red Rooster Cafe their 5 Stars is that their honor to Military and Veterans for serving the US Armed Forces. Thank you so much for greeting me in, serving up some good grub and leaving even happier than when I went to the work site.

Great little restaurant. Waitress was a 10 on friendliness and service. My only complaint would be my meat in my hamburger was alitlle overdone.

Great stuff. They made a turkey sandwich made into a wrap for me. They also serve shredded and grilled zucchini (instead of potatoes) for their chicken fried steak breakfast.

Its a basic diner. I only had a burger, wasn't bad, wasn't amazing. Wait time was a little long as high-school kids took over the place during lunch.
Not a varied lunch menu.
