Late on posting this. We go to Allez regularly. The food is absolutely amazing each and every time. I added photos from the Valentines dinner we had there. Just a wonderfully put together menu. If you have not dined here take the time to try it you won’t be disappointed. The staff is wonderful and very professional. Great selection of wines and classic French/European dishes. The place is small but once you get at a table the food and the service makes it all worth the wait. No reservations so try getting there for a little early dinner (4:30) :-)

The food and desserts are as delicious as in France (I've been to France last year). Really delicious. I recommend anyone passing by this area to stop by and eat. There should be some thrid party food delivery service when we are not convenient to go.

Glad to have a pretty good restaurant in town! We only had their soup, “lunch box” on the menu, and the mini saint honoree cake but can’t wait to go back again for the full dinner. It was great to learn something background story of this place. The chef/ owner is originally from France in the 80s. Settled in the el dorado area in 1988 and the rest is history.

We went to Allez! on a Wednesday at 5pm and were able to find a table for four. All of the servers were very helpful and nice, the food was excellent (we have tried quite a few higher end restaurants in the area and Allez is really something special). We had the tri-tip with carmelized onions, cabernet sauce, and roasted red potatoes, as well as the pork chop with nectarine, and mashed potatoes. Our table shared four different desserts and each one was excellent. We will definitely be going back again!

Wow, we had to come back a second day in a row, because the food was so incredible! I spent my birthday here and can't recommend Allez enough if you're in the Placerville area. It's unique that it presents as a cafe, but also a smaller restaurant. Kind of feels like you're eating at someone's kitchen, the atmosphere is very warm and cozy with a lot of neat places to sit (bar, tables, by the window).

The food is traditional French with a full menu to choose from, but Allez also offers a fixed menu that changes as well. I highly recommend the fixed menu for those who are hungry and not sure what to eat!

You can also get amazing coffee and pastries here, wine, and the staff is super friendly :) would come back in a heartbeat!

This is a lovely small French restaurant near Placerville. Dinner was excellent and they have a wonderful dessert menu. They also provide takeout if you want some French cuisine for your special occasion.

Wonderful waitstaff, excellent chef, my husband and I go there often. It is our favorite restaurant.
He makes an amazing rack of lamb,
The desserts are to die for.

The vibe reminded me of Europe. As you can see from the photos I posted, the sausage was exceptionally well prepared and took me back to Germany for a while. The staff was very nice, food a bit on the pricey side, portions just the right size, and overall a good experience. Give it a try...or do what you want, I'm not your parent, this is just my take.

The most perfect Ceasar salad EVER. Escargot, rack of lamb, pork chop all stupendous and the sauces impressive. What an all around treasure. Owner operators make every moment/ choice special.
