Philz Coffee

A great awesome place to get coffee your way. This coffee house does all pour over coffees in many different flavors of beans. There are no milk shakes here just coffee. Everyone that works there is extremely friendly and will make sure to get your cup right. Highly recommended.

A whole vibe. Favorite coffee shop hands down from the seating to the atmosphere. Love when they have latin playlist going. Mint Mojito is unmatched.

I love the iced mint coffee drink, it’s so delicious. The atmosphere is nice, the music is a bit loud. The bathrooms are not very clean and all the cool hipsters that work there don’t work very hard to keep the place tidy and clean. They lean around a lot.

Awesome selection of beverages and bakery items. Great open atmosphere with chair and couch lounge seating and power to plug in devices while studying or finishing a paper before class.

Just had a dancing water over the weekend. Long line and packed seating, but wait is to be expected when they make coffee one cup at a time. Coffee was good, I think there is better at other places. Plus almost spilled because lid wasn't secure, make sure to press down hard on lid.
Will probably go again though, after a few more weeks for them to get kinks out.

Lots of different blends of coffees and creative combinations that wants me trying more. There's a good amount of power outlets. The lighting and ambiance is really nice, service is always good. Music choice is always on point.

Air conditioning was going full bore. The high that day was only in the 80's. A bit unusual for Davis in the summer. My friends really enjoyed their coffee.

I have only been once so far, but the coffee selection is amazing! And I don't recall now which dark roast I had, but it was very tasty. And so was the avocado toast. Comfy seating options and friendly staff, too!

Coffee is good but the service is not good at all. I ordered my drinks but the staff seemed like he didn't want me to order although Philz wasn't crowed today. This is the reason why I put 2 stars.

My bladder hurt really bad after drinking this coffee and I had a terrible acid reflux attack that lasted 4 hours. I was diagnosed with a UTI afterwards. I drink coffee on a daily basis and try many different coffee shops frequently, and I have never had such a bad reaction. I'm not someone who deals with UTIs very often and this one has lasted a whole month and is very persistent. I don't know what they put in it, but beware. Customer service is not friendly either. They seemed annoyed with me.
