If your a rush, this is probably not a place you wanna go to get your morning cup of Joe. On two occasions I have gone in early in the morning when there’s nobody around and no other customers and the staff are just sitting around talking and drinking coffee and I my order is not ready. Once I walk up then they proceed with making the order. So then I have to wait an additional 5 to 10 minutes than the estimated time when the order should’ve been ready already. I’ll give a pass to anybody once but when it happens twice it’s a systems failure. Not coming here anymore.

One bad cashier ruined it all! I go to this location to pick up coffee almost every weekend. And most of time I bring my medium sized labradoodle (main reason I go there because I thought it was pet friendly). The experience had been very good up until today, when a male cashier with a large beard (forgot to get his name) very rudely told me that I had to get my dog out of there because no dogs were allowed. I responded very politely by saying :”Sorry, I did not know you guys don’t allow dogs” Then I promptly took my dog out and put him in the car and returned to wait for my coffee. In the meantime another person entered the store with a dog, and did not received the same treatment (the cashier appeared to know the other dog’s owner because they chatted for a while even after the order was completed). Although I was a little bummed, I left without saying anything after getting my coffee. I then shared the experience with some friends, and one of them called the store to get clarification on the dog policy because she too had a labradoodle and wanted to know the policy for her own reference. As soon as she asked about the dog policy, the guy on the phone started to get agitated and asked “are you that Asian women from this morning!” My friend said: “no, she’s a friend of mine, and I’m just trying to get some clarification for myself”. He started to get more agitated and began to raise his voice. And then hung up on her! When my friend called back, he got even more angry and started yelling at her. My friend had to tell him twice to “please calm down”. Not only did he NOT calm down, he proceeded to scream at her for about a minute until my friend couldn’t take it and hung up! My friend was stunned over how she was treated for asking a simple question. It’s very unfortunate that Philz employs someone with such poor attitude. I have no problem adhering whatever store policy, but I do NOT tolerate rudeness and racist/sexist comment like “that Asian women”, and being screamed at for asking a legit question. I hope Philz take this seriously and properly train its employee on customer service (or just fundamental communication skills).

Very crowded on weekends but they're very efficient. Added just the right amount of cream that I requested. 1 shared restroom and several tables inside. Many tables and chairs outside that get moved around often.

It’s always a treat to come here because I can bring my furbaby here and there’s a little grass area for him to play w other dogs. Only thing is they don’t have pup cups here n I was really surprised. I would take off a star for that, but it won’t be fair cause it’s about the coffee. Lol!! Got the Mint Mojito hot cause it’s cold, but not as good as iced. This is my fav Philz location, highly recommend!!

The coffee is excellent.
The choices are all there.
The baristas know their job well. The indoors and outdoors seating is clean, open and brings in the outdoors.
The quadrangle where music is played each Friday night is a part of the Philz coffee.
Right next to Apple HQ.
Ez parking in the garage.

First time trying and I loved the whole thing. I had no idea Philz was a bar type coffee place. I really liked the design. I don't remember what I ordered but it was like iced hot chocolate, soooo good ! Will definetely go again. I guess its good for when the weather isn't too cold because then I rather have something hot.

Definitely NOT a good value. When traveling I check out the local coffee shops. This was both the worst and the most expensive. $5.50 for a 20oz. coffee. For that price, it was merely adequate. I had better coffee at other places in the area.
