Higher Grounds Coffee House

I ordered bacon, eggs, ham sandwich because I am lactose intolerant. I also bought a mocha coffee with almond milk. This place deserve five star with their awesome lactose free option. Also the sandwich I got wasn’t on the menu, but they made it taste delicious anyways! 😍

The coffee is great 👍 tasting. Nice quiet spot to grab a coffee ☕️ and walk your dog 🐕 😀 outside. People and service are nice and friendly.

This is such a cozy place and a new stop for me everytime I'm in the area. Their menu is great and the girls that were working when I was there were so friendly and seemed genuinely happy to help me. I ordered an Iced Americano and it was exceptional. I also ordered a sandwich and it was delicious. You can tell that they have a sustainable business built on care and quality products.

Super friendly staff and owner, excellent iced chai latte. The ham and cheese pastry is my favourite. Such a cheerful vibe. Very welcoming and clean. I’m visiting from away and have been coming here frequently. I love this place!!

Stopped by to get an ice coffee for the road. The coffe tasted awful. I wanted a drip ice coffee, I don't know what I got. The coffee tasted extremely sour. It just had this taste that was super unpleasant. Not a fan of whatever bean they use at all.

Service was ok. The staff didn't seem overly excited to be there. It was an odd vibe. We also got a crossiant and cinnamon roll. The crossiant was also just ok. Not sure if they make them there or get them from a bakery, but they need some work.

Given that I couldn't get a good cup of ice coffee at the bare minimum, I won't be back. This was my second time returning to give them a try, and once sipped the coffee, I remembered why I don't go there.

Kudos to anyone who actually thinks the coffee or ice coffee is good. You have mighty tastebuds.

As much as I love supporting local businesses, I have been disappointed with the food and coffee prices both times I have gone. A small plain coffee is almost the same price as Starbucks and is not the best coffee. The first sandwich I had was a turkey sandwich and the bread was half stale. The second time I went I got a egg, bacon, and cheese breakfast bagel. My bagel wasn't even toasted. Not impressed.

Amazing sandwiches!! I had the roast beef on rosemary garlic bread and it was epic. Staff was super friendly, seating area is small but charming, with a large patio for outdoor dining. Regardless of what sandwich you order, you have to add the special deli dressing, it is perfection.

Love love love Higher Grounds! Great coffee and unlike some coffee places you can get great eats. They separately foil the bagel sandwiches - c’mon - that is taking an extra step that I didn’t count on from anyone anywhere. Great customer service. Shout out to Chad and Leah!!

I enjoyed the Honey Bear latte and a bacon breakfast sandwich. The food and service were great, will be back next time I’m up here!
