This place is a gem! The food always comes warm and perfectly cooked. They have the best gravy!

Thids place is pretty ok. Its a quiet place alot of long time regular customers. The staff is pretty cool laid back. The cook however is slow so if you have alot of time i would recommend this place. My patti melt was kinda dry but good. My friends had breakfast which was alot of food for them.

I would not go back. I ordered 2 eggs and 3 pieces of bacon with a waffle. The eggs were tolerated. I couldn't eat the bacon because it tasted like imitation to me. I was really looking forward to the waffle and was let down. I couldn't even eat 1/4 of it. It was doughy and chewy. I waited about 30+ minutes for this meal. I asked where it was and was told that we were next. I would hope so since no one was there when we got there. They weren't busy.

This is exactly what you expect from a good diner style place. Great service and the coffee kept coming!

Eggs Benedict was delicious, for the first time in a while I didn't take the other half home.

A step back in time. Unfortunately the outside doesn't match the coolness of stepping back in time 60 years when Highway 40 was the route. A cabin feel restaurant with hearty portions and low prices. Third generation family owned. Fruendly, polite young staff. A relaxed fun place. We will be back.

10/11/20 We came here today and sat in their new patio.....very cute and comfortable. We also sampled their new hot chocolate complete with drizzled chocolate and a toasted marshmallow. Delicious!

Great home cooking! Very friendly staff! A great gem of a local eatery. How many times can I say great!

What can I say other than this food is amazing. I will come back again as I got the basic 2 egg and county potatoes with the onion and bell peppers and the cook did an amazing job on ensuring the potatoes were done perfect and the onion and peppers still had a bit of a crunch or texture to them which in my book is the only way to have them. The waitress was awesome as well. If you get a chance and want a home-cooked meal come here sit down and enjoy.

Nice food, nice staff, comically bad service.

They brought everything late, brought the wrong things twice, got orders a bit wrong.
They apologized saying that it was just a really busy day... But... We were one of two parties in there and nobody was picking up takeout? We kinda had to keep from laughing.

It's a cosy place to sit down and chat with friends, but don't go if you're hungry or in a hurry.
