Tender Loving Coffee

I will most certainly return! Cute little coffee shop with a warm cozy environment and ample seating inside and out. Vegan! Drinks come with oat milk, but soy, coconut and almond were available too! They're covid cautious here and I love them for it. Looking forward to the next trip when I plan to have more than a coffee! Whatever was cooking, smelled amazing.

I deliver coffee beans to them. Always cheerful and friendly. Haven't eaten there, but the food looks and smells delicious.

I don't understand the appeal. Just because it's vegan, doesn't mean I should lower my standards. The 2 women who worked there (presumably owners) touched money, then the food & drinks. Not once did I see either wash their hands or change gloves in between going back and forth. Both kept walking outside to hand out food & drinks, touching the doorknob with the gloves they were also touching the food with. Literally all the food I ordered had a gross spicy flavor. I bought some for my daughter and she wouldn't eat it. The hash browns were the worst I've tasted in my life. Spicy and tasted like old boxed potatoes. For horribly bland food that tastes like cardboard, you'd think it would be cheap...nope. It was all very overpriced. They also had no service if you sit down. They were running around the place like headless chickens. My order took forever and it was small.

Visited this morning for the first time! I'll be back! Staff friendly and kind. A good cup of joe!

Wonderful had a birthday morning walk around Chico and stopped in here for coffee and a treat. We had a sticky bun, a vegan macaroon, and vegan burrito. All were big city good without all the people. The two young women serving we’re friendly and open to questions. If we lived in Chico this would be our spot. What a delightful coffee spot.

I was on the hunt for vegan breakfast and coffee while passing through Chico and this place hit the spot! The vegan sausage, egg & cheese biscuit was so flavorful and the biscuit was light and fluffy. So delicious! All of the drinks come with oat milk automatically. Love. I will definitely make it a point to pass through Chico again so I can come back to this delightful shop.

Super nice staff and super good coffee. Bonus: When my wife asked if the coffee was conflict free, shade grown, organic coffee; the answer was yes.

Stopped in based off of other reviews and we were not disappointed. For a sugar free mocha option, the made my wife's hot mocha with cocoa powder, which she really enjoyed, and for my iced mocha, they have pre-mixed chocolate milk that they pour the shots into for your drink. I do recommend getting something to stir it with. I tried my usual swirling of the cup, but the first few drinks of it were heavy with the espresso on top that hadn't mixed in yet. I like straight espresso, so was okay with it, but had to work at blending it to improve the ratio as I drank through the rest of it. :)
The staff were engaging and great conversationalists while making our drinks. All in all a great experience, great coffee, and a fun, inviting space to hang out in.

TLC: Totally Loving-caring place to get coffee and hang out, if you ask me. I highly recommend the Oreo Milk. Try it. They also have your regular variety of coffee choices, and a lunch menu.

There's lots of vegan options at TLC, all the pizzas I've tried are great, and so were the donuts I tried (they aren't the fluffy kind). Their outdoor patio in the back is nice. It can get a bit loud inside, especially when there are musical performances. While prefer a quieter atmosphere, I can't help coming back for their decent vegan selection, especially the pizza.
