Peet's Coffee

Great spot with lots of windows and natural light. There are 4 plugs for laptops immediately to the right in the corner of the bar when you enter. Has outdoor seating too! May have homeless customers as well.

Excellent location in downtown Chico. Sitting in the window is great for people watching. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. They also offer a great student discount on coffee and you get a complimentary cup with any bean purchase.

It's a chain store, nice staff, prices are higher than local roasters but quality is decent. Excellent views of downtown, good for people watching. Free Internet access but the bandwidth is very limited. If 3 people are using laptops my smartphone can't even connect.

I'm normally a big fan of Peet's, but this location in particular is sub-par. The vanilla latte tastes artificial and then overall atmosphere can be sketchy. There's many homeless people who hang out on the corner smoking and occasionally wander in. If you are looking for a coffee house with a relaxed and safe vibe, I would suggest you go to Starbucks.. a much nicer location in comparison to this one.

When I order a dark roast coffee and it happens that what they have is old they will ask if it would be okay if I wait for a fresh pot to be brewed. If I have the time I wait, and the coffees is awesome. They have timers that notify the baristas if the coffee is 30 minutes old or more. Coffee's always fresh and everyone there is friendly. They even let me play music in their outdoor area.

Love having coffee at Pet's downtown Chico. Unfortunately, they have closed. I will no longer be able to sit and sip coffee on Sunday afternoons at my favorite place.

PEETS Coffee shop.. It is a great internet cafe or meeting place. It has wonderful friendly staff and people with community spirit. Freshly local smiles with hometown friendly people.

Fantastic coffee and sevice cute girls working but the floors really need a good cleaning so they can keep up on it I think the place needs a really good cleaning provisional one

Pete's Coffee is a nice coffee house , I love their dark roast.I've lived here 5yrs now,very sad 2 Baristas closed and Pete's will be closing at the end of the year .

Good coffee and friendly people. I'm hoping that Chico Coffee Company will be a nice place to visit when it opens for business!
