Love Barnes and Noble. They just need to quit trying to make me get there reward/membership. When I say no thank you, that should be a clear indication I don't want it. I dont like arguing with their cashiers. Other than that I love the store. It is nice and relaxing and full of all kinds of books that I need.

The store is always so nice and inviting. The books are easy to find as well as the store personal are always ready to help you with anything you need. They have a great selection of books and if by chance they dont have what your looking fir they are more then willing to find it for you at another store or order it for you. Chill place to buy books in a corporate setying. This place still has a Starbucks with more bakery type options like the Smore cookie which was great. Good parking available and across from Costco and the Sierra Nevada brewery. Next to another nostalgic big box surprisingly still around, Guitar Center, making this shopping center a good place to head to for a trip back to the 90's. Think I might read a book the more often or just meet there.

Over priced and won't price match. I rarely find what I am looking for. Book inventory has shrunk and been replaced with games, toys, and miscellaneous "collectables." The only real positive here is the cafe. I love a good bookstore but this is no longer a good one.

A wonderful place to wait for a friend. The Starbucks inside has great coffee and food, plus you can bring your B&N books in to read while you relax. When you finish your coffee, there are stacks of books waiting for you to browse. Of course, free WiFi is provided!

I buy a vinyl. I use it and it’s warped but I can’t get my money back. It’s not my fault. Great job Barnes and Noble I latterly bought it yesterday 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

When I walked in a guy offered assistance. I told him I needed a NEC 2014. He took me to a shelf it was sold. But he brought me to a register where one was behind the counter. Any other place would have been like "no were out sorry" and that would have been it. This guy got it for me! That's great service! Polite, quick and boom out of there! Couldn't be happier. Thank you sir who ever you were!

Very sad experience! They had a book signing for a children's book author Jan and I forgot her last name. It was for this last Saturday at 10 in the morning I drove 40 minutes in but they said she wasn't going to be there because of the weather til 1 I said I wasn't sure I could come back since I had company coming at 1 also. I bought 3 books and the manager gave me 3 presigned stickers they were just pre-printed and I said ok but if I can make it back I would rather have them signed and I would be happy to give them back for somebody else. She said keep in mind she will only be here from 1 to 3. I got there at 1:50 and was told the authors husband had said no more signing so they couldn't sign mine I said look I've drive. 40 minutes In each way 3 times today and I can't get my books signed manager said no. The author heard me but kept her head down and so said fine I will return them manager told me to return at the registers. While I was waiting she aproached me with a different sticker that did have a signature and said I can give you these 2 and you only have to return 1 at that point I said if you or the author don't care that I'm returning these books after everting I've done to get here then I will not give you or this author a good recommendation she said fine there's nothing I can do. So Barnes and Noble after buying from you for the last 20 years I will never walk into your store again and with 9 grandkids and being a book worm I guess you don't need my business.

We always enjoy our visits to Barnes & Noble. Huge selection of gifts for Christmas. As always an even greater selection of books and magazines. And to top it off, bonus coupons in your email!

Over the years I lived in Butte County, California; I have never enjoyed a Barnes and Noble as much as I enjoyed this particular store. I always had positive experiences-The employees always seemed glad to assist whether by phone or when I was able to visit the store. I currently live in Santa Rosa, and have had negative experiences. They seem snobbish and aggravated that they have to help. I also used Barnes and Noble during the 1990's and had good experiences with the Walnut Creek store. I bought alot of books to help aid in my research ventures for the university I attended. But, none compare to the Chico store. They get an A +++++++
