Café Carmel

Great latte and tiramisu! Other food items were average.

coffee and food are good. the only thing is whenever I order sandwiches or wraps, they are always sloppily thrown together. it's very frustrating to pay $20 for a soggy sandwich that falls apart while you're eating it. Have some pride.

Terrible pasta. Don't try it, or you will likely regret it. Coffee was not bad. They have Wi-Fi, but they don't put a note for the Wi-Fi password at the register. You have to ask for it, and the staff I encountered just input it in my phone for me, so I couldn't use Wi-Fi for my laptop unless I'd ask them again. Uh! There's a public library about 500 feet down Ocean Ave, where free Wi-Fi is offered. I felt better working with my laptop there than in this cafe, sadly.

Ordered a macchiato and and it was the worst espresso drink I've ever had. The staff was unfriendly, too.

The macaroons are the only good point. Horrible soup and a pizza that feels like bad supermarket quality, plus lots of grease. And 15 minutes to make a coffee.

Easy and tasty breakfast, not too expensive. There is limited seating inside and you order at the counter.

I come here on my lunch breaks for the avocado toast add bacon and it’s always delicious! Good service highly recommend there food.

This is a great place for something sweet. The customer service has always been above and beyond. If you happen to be in Carmel I would highly recommend a stop for tea and a pastry.

Good for late night ice cream or a laid back breakfast (we went for both 👍🏽)

Hi! After a 20min wait (No problem with that as it was monterey car week). You took mine and my daughters order! Then you told me you didn't accept mastercard only visa...GROAN. It's a debit card NOT a credit card! You ran it through again, the credit card company won't accept the charge. I TOLD YOU A THIRD TIME IT"S DEBIT NOT CREDIT. Guy runs it through again. Sorry sir your credit card company have bounced it. Where's gonzo and fozzy bear as this Cafe is being run by the muppets! AND TO THE OWNER OF CAFE CARMEL? We live locally and paid twice using the same card, you know the mastercard debit (NOT VISA BTW) that you don't accept.........Your front of counter staff are a disgrace (Thanks by the way for taking the order first of the person behind us - it was such an F'ing joy to have to move aside whilst the person behind us paid). Customer service? Doubt you spell it. (NOTE! Monterey car week may be a good earner, but at what price? Regular customers? No more! JOG ON!!! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!
