Terrapin Creek

Every time my husband and I stay in Bodega we go to Terrapin! Their food is amazing and the staff is always very nice! I gave them a 4 star because I came here 2.5 years ago and their drink menu has not changed. I wish they had a little more of a flirty drink option! But with that being said, we still would definitely recommend them to all of our friends! So go visit :)

Great food and friendly staff. The Petrale Sole was good, but the real star of the meal was the crême fraiche cheesecake - so light and moist, and the cherry and vanilla flavors were great

My two favorites were the hamachi crudo, served with a drizzle I didn’t want to waste one drop of, and the gnocchi with short ribs, light and fluffy and good enough to repeat the second day we were in Bodega Bay too! Yummy!! Rick was an especially accommodating waiter!

Inspired menu with fresh ingredients, this restaurant will not disappoint. Everything we had on the menu was a pleasure and there wasn't anything I would change. Service was attentive and professional but a little "stiff". We would definitely come back.

After reading reviews I was very interested in eating here. The reservation text the day of gave us a nice reminder of our dinner. Food was excellent, service was warm and personable. We ended up eating much more than we usually would- due to the quality of the food, and the pricing, which was surprisingly reasonable for the quality of food prepared. Absolutely lived up to the reviews and made a wonderful nightcap of an already great afternoon.

“Literally the best meal I’ve had in 2 years.” We shared a series of appetizers instead of having entrees and they did not disappoint- the creamy herb dressing clinging to flavorful fresh vegetables combined with candied pecans, blue cheese and bacon was superb; the charred octopus salad was tender, flavorful and the roasted Brussels sprouts added just the right notes of sweetness; the potato and leek soup was silky and delicious. The pan roasted scallops and Dungeness crab cakes were also amazing and we would highly recommend them! Portions were perfect so even after enjoying all of there wonderful dishes we still had room for dessert- a light and creamy cheesecake with raspberry and vanilla sauces . It was the perfect ending. As everyone knows good service is as important as good food and Terrapin Creek has both. Our server, Michael, was clearly experienced providing a leisurely flow to our evening and just the right amount of information and conversation-thank you!

After three days in Bodega Bay we were delighted to find this hidden gem. The food was amazing. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the wine list is full of locally produced varietals. Go early, seating fills up quickly! We had the seafood stew and Petrale sole. Thank you Terrapin for a great dining experience.

We LOVE Terrapin Creek! My husband and I try go get a weekend away in Bodega Bay every year and we ALWAYS have dinner at Terrapin Creek on our itinerary. It never disappoints, such delicious, fresh, and interesting flavors. Be sure to get a reservation ahead of time and enjoy this wonderful spot!

Wonderful dining experience. Extraordinarily nice staff and fresh, local, creative cuisine. Octopus salad, scallops, bread and cheesecake we're highlights but everything we tried was delicious. We went twice in one long weekend! Highly recommend.
